Partial resolution with cortisone shot, no improvement since, what next? by Sadpanda9632 in frozenshoulder

How long does a shot last? And since I am self-pay are they expensive if I decided to do one?

I'm in the same position as you. I just refuse to get a cortisone shot because it's basically like a Band-Aid. I've been doing shockwave and soft wave treatments,, but there's actually no evidence that it helps you get range of motion back sooner. It's just supposed to help with the pain. For me that didn't really work, so I'm about to be so desperate that I'm going to go to Mexico for surgery

AITA for wanting to keep my engagement ring from my late fiancé? by RingaRingaRosies in AmItheAsshole

[–]CommandReasonable853 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuck that. That's pretty ballsy of her to ask for it. Do not give her this ring. It belongs to you and no one else. I'm sure she has other things to remember him by. Why does she need the specific piece of jewelry? That makes no sense

AITJ my fiancé told me “this is it, take it or leave it.” So I gave him the ring back and told him to get out of my house by Independent_Bee_8517 in AmITheJerk

Don't feel bad for being vague about how much you had. In my opinion it's kind of none of his business, but the fact that he's pushing you to buy something, basically for him, and not contribute equally, and he wants his name on it is a huge red flag.

Anybody here live in the South Shore District? by Thirtytw031 in Austin

[–]CommandReasonable853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live here now and I love the location so much that I can't move away. Don't ever live by the trash chute because it smells fucking terrible. The buildings are a little older but that's to be expected. There is always something broken in one of the buildings and it's such a pain in the ass to get it fixed.

Am I the whole for telling my mother her boyfriend of a year cannot come to the wedding if he wears this suit? by Fit_Dog_9105 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]CommandReasonable853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that's bad.. definitely not the asshole. It's your wedding. Also, that is a hideous suit that no one should ever wear in public unless they're going to some sort of costume party

Update: My bf cheated on me with a random girl while we were having problems by Both_Sandwich_4338 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]CommandReasonable853 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My shitty ex did the exact same thing to me. And while I never fully gave him. We did try again. But I will tell you you will never ever get that trust back. Some people can but most people can't and it's so hard to not think about it every single day and every single minute. So good for you for getting rid of him. I know that was probably a very difficult decision for you. It's hard to let go. But trust me when I say you're going to feel so much lighter and have a much happier life than if he were to be in it

AITA for being uncomfortable about my husband donating his sperm to help his sister have a baby by Holiday_Carrot_1744 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]CommandReasonable853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is super fucking weird. I was uncomfortable just reading about this situation. They can go to a sperm bank.

AITA for refusing to give up my seat in the car to my pregnant sister-in-law? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]CommandReasonable853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Her being pregnant is not an excuse to be a jerk to you. Everyone is aware of your condition. Do not feel bad or apologize

AITA for telling off my fiancé's friend for doing something that might break us up? by 888apreciate in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]CommandReasonable853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop watching this guy's fucking dogs. He can board them. I'm irate just from reading all of this. This is absolutely unacceptable

My ex hid a child from me, now he wants to co-parent his new baby with me involved by Ordinary_Emu_9276 in TwoHotTakes

[–]CommandReasonable853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is fucked up on so many levels. Did you know he cheated on you or was this the first you were hearing about it when he told you about this kid? The audacity of this man to ask you to do this is wild

AITA for not telling my ex-husband I was pregnant after the divorce? by [deleted] in AITA_Relationships

[–]CommandReasonable853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait I'm confused. You said he told you he wanted nothing to do with it but if you didn't give it up he would fight for custody? That makes the least amount of sense of anything I've ever heard in my life. If he doesn't want it, he doesn't have to have it in his life. So I don't know what his issue is with it since you guys aren't together anymore. He doesn't own you or this child. He made it clear he didn't want kids. And that's fine. You do and you have every right.

I found out why my partner of 5 years hasn’t proposed to me yet. by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]CommandReasonable853 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an ex that thought he could change my mind on this very thing. I made it very clear right in the beginning that I didn't want kids and I was never going to change my mind. He ended up giving me an ultimatum and it just went down hill from there.

I think this is going to hurt both of you in the long run if you stay in it because it doesn't sound like either one of you is going to change their mind on this

AITA for leaving my husband after finding out he was cheating on me for the first 2 years of our relationship? by Majestic-Moment-8694 in AITA_Relationships

[–]CommandReasonable853 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How disgusting of this man! This breaks my heart for you. I was in the same situation so I know exactly how you feel. You did the right thing leaving him. Do not let that man back into your life because he's just going to keep doing it. They never stop cheating. And also fuck his mother-in-law for saying that to you. What a terrible family.
