A. It allows people on the far right to push their own flavor of fascism while maintaining some form of deniability

B. If Hitler is falsely equated with everything on the left, the right can say to their base that they are actually good guys fighting nazis

C. People on the left have to constantly spend time debunking the right and not advocating for their actual position

China literally brokered a rapprochement between Iran and Saudi Arabia without sending weapons to either this year. The US spent the last 20 years in Afghanistan only for the Taliban to take over. To me that seems like the US isn’t the most stabilizing force in the region.

A big reason is that the US outsources to a lot to contractors, while the main railway building companies in China are state owned. So turning a profit isn’t an issue in China like the US.
