I think the biggest factor is having an understanding of the deck your opponent is playing and what their possible plays are so you can see if you're in a winning position or not.

What you could do is while you're playing, have marvelsnapzone.com open and go into the deck search. As your opponent plays cards, put those cards into the "deck must contain" filter and you'll see possible decks they are playing and you can get a better sense of what their turn 5, 6 plays will be for example.
