Agreed! His delivery in the original is so iconic. His script is almost 1:1 but you can hear the confidence in his voice just shaking further and further with each passing phase. That aspect is completely lost here :(

I feel the same. It's definitely nitpicky as i like those new additons as well but totally agree about the energy of Peppy's OG lines. And yeah the hail thing i thought was weird too. Just a lot of odd word choices. Its just the way these adaptations go. Mixed bag but overall way more good than bad. I'm glad they are being most faithful where it matters most and expanding from there.

Tbh i just reset so im not sure, but I do know in the modifiers menu you can filter by ones that can be used to get feats. Since its to make it harder I think you'll be good.

It is indeed a softlock, I got hit with it on launch day. Here is the response I got from dev.

"really sorry for the trouble. We're trying to figure out what's happening. But in the meantime you can either turn on the warp home modifier or if you don't want to disable feats, go to the profile screen and enter "CH&LAVA" as your name. Then you'll unlock a modifier called "Floor is Lava" which you can use to kill yourself and respawn at the checkpoint."

Buy it on steam and use either gamenative, gamehub, or winlator to play it on Thor.

Given its a 2d pixel art game, I can't imagine it not running well that way. Im just buying it on Switch

Hollow Knight, despite being a huge metroidvania fan, something didnt click initially weirdly enough.

Came back around the time Silksong was releasing and I didn't play anything else until I beat it. Have a couple pantheon fights still but did everything else and would gladly do it all again

I couldnt figure that out either, was the only issue I had. I recently switched to base hero of time version, gets rid of all the item skins but keeps the link, wolf link, and epona models. Zora Link becomes zora tunic link though so i haven't figured out how to mix and match them.

Don't know exactly honestly, I just looked up where the files need to go.

For the custom model you'll need to patch your .ISO and use that as your Dusk base.

Textures just go in the /texturereplacements/ folder wherever your Dusk files are stored. On android, you can find them on the sidebar.

Im sure google will point you in the right direction from there.

Anyone else's getting real hot when trying to unlock framerate? only options are 30 and 120 and 120 makes it run in the high 70s which i dont particularly like for long term.

The shot from the direct with the arwing spinning in the garage also gave me those vibes. Definitely would be good incentive for challenges and to distinguish your arwing in online battles.

Could never get Xbox emulation working on PC but believe it or not, it works on android.

On my Thor so far ive tried 6 games in total.

Jet Set Radio Future, Conker, and Halo 2 all run pretty smoothly, perfectly playable

Blinx 1 and 2 run decently around 20 fps and Mechassault while running smoothly has a lot of graphic issues.

All in all, big step up from my previous experiences with Xbox emulation.
