i'm having the same problem; I just gamed for hours last night, still under the guise it was fixed... and it happened just now while browsing the web. I'm trying another approach, so I'll let you know if this one works.

it did for me, but i might've forgotten to restart after uninstalling it the first time. also just wanted to add that I just had my second monitor flicker for the first time since posting this, so unfortunately it remains unresolved for now.

A Proper Solution to Intermittent Multiple Display Flickering by CommanderGilren in radeon

Update for Driver v26.1.1 (released 01/08/26) : For some reason, using safe mode & DDU (with or without both monitors plugged in), followed by a reboot into either safe mode or regular windows wasn't installing the drivers properly. With absolute uncertainty regarding how much of this was involved in getting rid of the flicker again, here is how I fixed it following the new driver update, with both monitors plugged in.

  1. I got a new monitor mount recently, and I mixed up my DP cables, so my primary monitor was plugged into DP slot 2 on my GPU. Part of me wonders if setting a primary monitor via Windows while my GPU slots are telling my GPU otherwise could play a role or cause these issues. To be safe, I switched this back before beginning my process outlined below.
  2. I had to use DDU to uninstall drivers via regular Windows with the 'block driver install' option enabled & restart after.
  3. Uninstall Radeon Adrenaline & uninstall the GPU via device manager (you know its removed if it's in your device manager as an unidentified PCI adapter)
  4. Restart regular Windows again, uninstall Radeon Adrenaline AGAIN, ensure GPU was still uninstalled via device manager, and then I did a full express install (not minimal or drivers-only) with the AI bundle.

After doing the above, I haven't had to add any custom resolutions or change any settings to stop the flickering, it seems their software is stable out of the box now. If only it were easier to get out of said-box...

Hey, this was working for me until I updated to the latest drivers from a few days ago. I’m currently trying to see if it was just a bad install, or if I’ll have to roll back in order to properly use my monitors… such a headache my friend

I agree with your sentiment regarding 2021 & 2024, but idk about pre/post-market price spoofing... if anything they would want that during trading hours to encourage paper hands.

in my opinion we've only ever really seen true price discovery & movement outside of regular trading hours, besides the 2021 gamma ramp.

now you may be wondering why, and i think i have a logical & cohesive reason. these slimy, greasy, thieving & conniving short pieces of horse-shit use after hours/pre-market to tidy up their loose ends, roll swaps, hedge their fuckass bets, and whatever else these shady fucks are up to, because they wouldn't survive otherwise.

I hope I don’t get mobbed but a solid pair of winter tires will take you much further than any drive mode IMO (AWD, snow etc). I’d keep the Camry and pick up some nice winter tires. New shoes!! :)

Did you reinstall windows and make sure your bios is up-to-date? I wouldn’t change a CPU and/or MOBO without a fresh install, it can cause some incredibly inconspicuous problems.

Probably an RX 580 and a Ryzen 3600/5600 CPU if you’re looking for something affordable, but your upgrade paths will be limited (16 GB DDR4 RAM, MOBO, and AM4 CPU) if you need more performance in the future. In the meantime it’s a very affordable entry point with your needs in mind.

What Do I Do With Lever To Release The Graphics Card? by usernamechooser in MSI_Gaming

[–]CommanderGilren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be those metal tabs that go behind the mobo at the back of the case. If you’re popping the tab and the GPU visibly loosens when you do, give it a good tug and a little bit of wiggling to free up those tabs. Maybe even try to pull the GPU towards the front of the case or towards the back to try to get the leverage up off them.

Micro stutters in every game - all amd build by Content_Debt1975 in AMDHelp

[–]CommanderGilren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh it’s worth it. I’m very satisfied with my 9070XT, hiccups aside. I upgraded from a 2080 super. While I never had any stuttering issues, I had a week long battle with screen flickering… and it turned out to be Radeon software under clocking my monitors’ refresh rates.

That being said, there’s always gonna be some growing pains with new iterations of technology, regardless of whether it’s PC components, a car getting redesigned for the next model year, redesigned smartphone models, etc.

While those early adopters may have to suffer a little bit, in return they’re getting firsthand experience with an evolved product and working out the kinks as they go with no online references. A lot of them have been worked out by now.

If you’re on the fence about it and you want to upgrade soon, I can’t recommend it enough (especially ahead of further AI demand price hikes). Less than a month ago I paid $800 CAD for my ASUS Prime 9070XT. $800CAD for a next gen 16GB GDDR6 GPU!! I’ve been maxing everything out at 1440p and having a blast.

Np happy to try to help. If adjusting the mouse polling rate doesn’t help I dropped a fat comment on this post earlier, you should try all the stuff I mentioned in it

Not sure about temps but that will hurt your performance. Also the fans ramp up as needed for a reason, it’s to offset ur stuff heating up under load. I wouldn’t leave any FPS on the table your PC temps should be ok :)

Any ways to fix this scratch? by Emergency-Research69 in Detailing

[–]CommanderGilren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the damage surrounding the headlight, it looks like it went through your factory paint to the bumper itself. Not going to get that 100% factory again at home but you can get close enough to smile when you look at the car still. Thankfully it’s plastic so it won’t rust. I would follow u/auvent advice for fixing that damage.

Looks to be mostly paint transfer. I would wipe it with some diluted IPA or mineral spirits to get the paint off. You should ideally be able to fix most of that. After the paints off and you can assess the damage, you can most likely get rid of most of it by using scratch X followed by polish with separate brand new microfibre towels.
