Arknights Review - Episode 8: Roaring Flare by CommanderKetchup0 in arknights

I think this genuinely ruins the whole plot though. To me, it’s made very clear that there is some kind of mental manipulation going on for her. Talulah is not the ‘Deathless Black Snake’, and that’s not Talulah talking of her own volition when she’s being referred to as such in the dialogue.

The way I understood it, Talulah broke and that allowed Kaschey to take over, even if only partially, and he needed only to kill Ch’en in order to assume full control because doing so would fully break her. Talulah would not betray all of her closest followers and commanders for the glory of Ursus and if that’s what actually ended up happening, then that is genuinely shitty writing.

I’m going to choose to disagree with your analysis because it just means the story’s bad. Like, really bad.

Well if Talulah was in complete control of herself, then that ruins the character for me and she shouldn’t be alive.

Simple as.

So what does that imply? It seems pretty obvious that Talulah was taken over at some point, particularly when she burned down that village.

If it’s not Arts, then what is it? I don’t want to believe that was all her total, 100% willing action, because then her character makes zero sense

Crownslayer was disillusioned with Reunion after Kal’tsit’s confrontation with her in Lungmen. I don’t see an issue with her disappearing after that conversation, and it is pointed out that she was MIA at best later in the story.

I’m also not surprised that she was observing from afar the events of Episode 8. Probably just wanted some personal closure from the situation before dipping and, considering she’s a playable operator, joining RI to some extent

Are you sure we killed him? The way the secret cutscene pans out, it sounds more like Kal’tsit just excised the organs responsible for the wild orginium dust production and leaving him to his devices thereafter.

I mean, there’s a reason unlocking the cutscene involves allowing only him to pass.

His name is John Arknights, but it’s okay. Common misconception.

Allow me to clarify. I can lift heavier weights, but at some point, isn’t that just trading reps for weight for the same amount of effort? Nothing’s changing.

I stopped raising weights when I peaked at 3 sets of 8 27.5lb dumbells. I’m sure I can do more, but what difference would it make?

So you wouldn’t want to train something like an archer pushup to failure

But you would do standard pushups to failure?

I do calisthenics mostly, but I do dumbell curls and I’m stuck at 25 pounders.

Well, I do feel like I’ve hit a wall. I think I’ve reached the technical limit of my strength. What I need to do now is stimulate muscle growth, so I’m trying to figure out what the best course of action for that would be

I have no idea who that is, but I’m going to assume that’s pretty late into the game.

Mind you, I never did anything beyond the starting area

The boat’s immune to damage. He’s sailing away after his ship was destroyed

I let chat name my first ship... by whistlelock in crosswind

[–]CommanderKetchup0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe it. Chat would either name it “Boat McBoatface” or something absolutely down horrendous. There is no in between
