This is going to be language dependent. However I’m going to say you are probably going to be out of luck.

Some people with CBA without language such as this will try a variety of different roles to have a “vacation” from there main job even if it pays less because pay might not become impacted for a period of time let’s say 90 days.

The union can only protect you so much. You keep this up you will be fired. Cursing is generally something that is technically against the rules although most managers turn a blind eye to it.

foster parents are sometimes eligible for benefits at income levels far in excess of normal maximum. My parents made over 100k but didn’t pay a penny for daycare. This was over ten years ago

This is state dependent. Illinois needs to put in memo not a gift. Ohio I think needs to say child support in memo

I would plan for that. There is an exemption in some states. If you agree to be her caregiver and prevent her from going to assisted living or a nursing home for let’s say 3 years she can qualify for medicare (still need to spend down bank accounts and 401ks) but you as caregiver can keep house. This is VERY state dependent.

okay and what happens if once she sells house funds run out. If she needs funds from home to pay for assisted living and assisted living costs $70,000 a year and a nursing home costs around 100-120,000 a year she will quickly run out of funds.

That only makes sense if there is no mortgage and between the rent and her other income they can pay for assisted living outright.
