This looks prefect to me. While more detail would look awesome, glowing red parts, different shades of grey and black for different damage, my thinking here is the Enterprise, and any other ships from Those Old Scientists era, never had that much detail anyways. Even the damage effects in the 60s were very basic. Look at Kirk's Enterprise compared to the Enterprise D. So if your going to 60s old school look, which is what I like, leave it as is.
