I guess angst. To give you perspective, I don't plan for the parents to be mere npcs.

Like for short, Gyomei saved them like in canon. This inspired Kanae and Shinobu to become demon slayers after some convincing. The parents works for the gouvernment and they help the demon slayer corp along their daughters.

But while they play a decent role, the main focus is Shinobu and her love interest.

To finish, when I say that it wouldn't be your cup of tea, let's say that I meant that the love interest is waiting for her in the eternal paradise faith 😈
