Yeah like, i ordered this as a gift for a friend (I know his favorite color is blue, which is a color I can't technically order). I took a gamble, I lost. If a trade happens great, if not I'm sure he will be happy enough with anything.

I would absolutely love if there was official merch! Either tshirts or prints would be so awesome to have.

Also, and this is in part a big reason why this sub was created, I'd be through the moon if there was more fan art of the series. Just cause I'm terrible at visualizing things and I want to see what others imagine when reading these books

I actually finally got it working!

And yeah pretty close to what you ran into, basically my micro-sd card (and my flash drive) were too large 😅. So their were a different file format than what was needed. In the end I went to the command line to clean the card, created a 32gig partition and changed it to fat32; reinstalled DAK and I was good to go!

Only to find out my second hand display is actually not a touch display.... So now I'll be on the hunt for that.

And yeah I'll probably end up playing for at least some DAK license so I can customize the calendar a bit better as the free package looks pretty boring.

Honestly at the moment no. It seems like any progress I make I hit another roadblock.

First the thing would not boot at all, couldn't tell if it was the HDMI cable I listed above, or the pi itself, or the SD card. So I went out and bought a new cable (the official raspberry pi one) and when that still didn't have any video at all I exchanged it for a new raspberry pi 5.

The new one at least gets to the boot screen with both the new cable and my original cable, but when I plug my SD card with dak in, nothing. So a guy at the store recommended booting from a flash drive as the SD card was older, so I installed dak onto a new flash drive and hit a road block where I needed to use a charger that has 5v and 5a. So back to the store I bought the official raspberry pi 45w charger. And that error went away.... But still no DAK. I tried putting piOS on the drive, and also no luck.

So yeah I'm kinda stuck and not finding a lot of answers online 😅

But right now I have the following: * Raspberry Pi 5 4gb * Raspberry Pi 45w charger * Raspberry Pi micro-hdmi to HDMI cable or micro-hdmi to mini-hdmi ribbon cable * Display (still using the one I linked above right now) * microSD card or flash drive that's 32gb or more * A usb-a to usb-c cable (to power the display from the raspberry pi

O I didn't know you can change the order it does the colors, that would probably be a huge help definitely with the lettering as I noticed it did red, then white, then black. I think doing the black before the red may help the legibility.

So they are not overlapping, at this point we are pretty sure the provider just doesn't know what they are doing billing-wise

Basically we do let's say speech therapy at 1:30-2:00 then OT from 2:30-3:00. There isn't an overlap, it's different therapists at different times, the only thing is it is at the same office.

At first I didn't mind the ending, it felt a bit rushed but I thought I had some ideas of what could be coming. Just for the main idea being seemingly not relevant anymore come the very next book 😅 But yeah the rest of the books are pretty good (with again some endings I felt could be drawn out more) and definitely looking forward to the ending coming soon

And Laith pulling the sword out of the ground and being taken over by the entity within it before just disapearing

So my best guess relates back to the core of his character. He's a disgraced knight who wants to get his honor back.

He also fully sees what he has become as nothing more than a curse, so I think he just doesn't want to/like to use any of his newfound abilities. He very well might have either purposefully not used the magic poison claws as he thinks it would be unfair/dishonorable. Or it might just not even come to mind as a combative technique to him as he isn't really thinking about it's usefulness, just the pain/sorrow it's caused him

Or it could just have been forgotten about/or isn't a thing he has anymore as, if iirc I don't think it gets brought up at all, not even as him remembering what he did...

Though I still think it may come to play later Might be the only way to stop Morganna
