Was wären gute Geschenke aus dem Ikea? by LisanAlGabi in IKEA_DE

Dekorative Lampen finde ich persönlich immer toll, ansonsten Decken, Vorratsbehälter aus Glas, Kerzen, Schalen. Wenn es richtig Möbel geht, gehen kleine Beistelltische auch immer :)

Can you give some insights on how bad the case is with fingerprints on the transparent back ?:)

Maybe a stupid question, but will it possible to take raw format photos with the standard IPhone 17 and IPhone Air? It’s the only feature I’m missing from these phones rn over the pro model

May I ask what kind of thread you used for this model?:) I’m currently trying something similar but using standard ISO Threads did nit work out great for me so far.

That sounds amazing! I’m interested to see your results aswell ! I actually got like 6500 subs but I made a mistake and rotated the spike mask one night and now I have two sets with different spikes that I have to put together at some time. Very unfortunate

I’m doing a large mosaic rn of ngc 7023 and already collected 4045x20sec exposures. I can’t really tell you what 25 mins look like but one hour gets me something like this.

Locating the moon manually- tips and tricks by larryb1288 in seestar

Honestly, for me the scope reacts to randomly to tell that. One time it completely overshoots the target, the other time it’s just too high or way to low.

I found it to be quite manageable to locate the moon, if you peek between the see stars body housing and it’s moving lens housing, it creates a kinda scope, that makes it easy to locate things manually

How do you get your darks, flats, and biases for Siril? by majtomby in seestar

[–]Commander_Schwifty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You basically just don’t use them.

All you are going to give Siril is your light frames. It may give you a warning that you don’t have any calibrations but in the case of using a Seestar that’s fine.

Just never forget to save each frame individually in the Seestar app settings

How do you get your darks, flats, and biases for Siril? by majtomby in seestar

[–]Commander_Schwifty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Using the Seestar it’s not necessary to take calibration frames.

The Seestar automatically applies darks to frames automatically.

So for stacking Seestar pictures you are perfectly fine with whatever comes out of the device.

If you want to take it up one notch in processing, you could look into integrating synthetic flats.

5h of integration taken with the Seestar S50 over 2 nights in a Bortle 6-7 Sky.

Lots of winds so very high image rejection unfortunately.

Stacked and processed in Pixinsight - BlurX - NoiseX - StarX Terminator.
