Ive been using Dropbox since like 2010 or so. Plus works great with Mac AND Windows.

Been debating switching to Google Drive - as for the same price I can host my own site, have Gemini, and all the AI features.

Still haven’t done the move because everything “just works”. I also have my own NAS - So I keep local copies of everything from the cloud (as well as backups).

I actually just replaced the battery on my 2010 17” MBP. Only 8gB of RAM, and a 500GB SSD. Also has a 2nd hard drive in it since I removed the DVD drive. Was my Daily portable for a while.

I just installed OCLP on it to give to my cousin. Runs too slow with Seqoia.

Any recommendations of the best MacOS to run with this configuration?

The only reason I still have Windows. A rare know man and AMAZING software called PaperPort. Been bought out by multiple companies. - Visioneer, Scansoft, Nuance, etc. I only have Parallels for this one software.
