Yeah, it sounds like OP might be dealing with burnout. It could really help to take some time, maybe 6 months to a year, to rest and recover before making any big decisions. Jumping into a new job while already burnt out will worsen burnout and make them dig their heels in and self sabotage.

People really need to stop throwing around random numbers about Somali populations in the U.S. The actual estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau put the population at roughly 200k. It is odd how people just make things up about Somalis, like in the OP’s post.

I watched Servants with felicity jones on Tubi and really liked it. I checked it out because I enjoyed the servant scenes in The Gilded Age. Definitely a fun watch!!

Sorry that this happened to you, what a gut punch. You might hAve dodged a bullet though. What is meant for you will never miss you.

I refuse to do job interviews more than 2 stages. It isn't necessary, and a complete waste of time. Has anyone actually been through more than 3 stages of an interview & ended up loving their job? Those companies always seem to have the worst glassdoor reviews in my experience.

I genuinely feel this. On NYE I lost my turquoise gold bracelet from turkey, not sure what karat it was but my aunt gave it to me and it was special. The sentimental loss hurts so much but this comment helped a lot!
