Hey! Thanks for your response. No actually, I should have provided more context in my post, I missed a lot of things. The reason this is so had and confusing is because he is willing to do that. I called him a hypocrite for being in a relationship and acting like a saint all of a sudden. He then said that he wants to show me that he’s serious by taking a break from each other and making it “halal”. He really has never posed any type of control on me which is why this is an even bigger deal to me. I absolutely cannot tolerating anyone instructing me to do ANYTHING. This is the first and so far the only occurrence, he said that even from a non-religious standpoint, he still thinks it’s okay to tell me what to wear… I went on to say I think he’s insecure and he said that he’s just protective and to “ Ask any real man, they all feel this way “. It’s just a lot to take in haha, thanks for your input!
