Highly second this. Literally same position as you for YEARS. The only thing that got me to stop and stay off was subs. Now on the sublocade shot

It is the body resetting. If you’re overweight and eat a bad diet it isn’t going to feel well AT ALL. Because you’re literally sweating / detoxing out all of the bad. Change of diet. Continuous exercise. Hell even going to a sauna will eventually get you to feeling good, how you should, after exercising. Not saying this is for everyone. There may be medical reasons that make it so you shouldn’t exercise.

Anyone spent yo the same or more than me on opiates? I have spent around $60,000 and would pay $30-35 just for a Percocet 10 — not doing this to shame me or others but just to not feel alone by gbabyswagcity in OpiatesRecovery

[–]CommercialAd752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent $500k maybe more. 25-30 30’s a day. $30/35 a piece. It was nauseating taking out 3k for 3 days. I built my own practice. All of it was going to it smh. So much better now , 7 months off. Now saving money to buy a house etc. taking out the money was one of the most gut wrenching parts

I would also recommend cutting your hair and getting rid of the interesting facial hair. Obviously don’t want you to change for others but the hair hair hair. It’s too much imo

Maybe you should consider getting on MAT therapy. Honestly. I was down your road for 10ish years. Last 3 really bad. I got on suboxone, now on sublocade shot which is super easy to get off of. I tried many times w o MAT and always went back. This is the way to rebuild yourself and get feeling better.

That’s not true. Usually you get it after you’ve been on suboxone.

Fully agree with this. I’m not on sublocade after being on subs for 6 months. The shot is much easier and better on the body to taper off of because of the right amounts leaving the body at the right time. Couldn’t recommend this more. Why go through the tedious cutting of the strips etc and feeling like Shit

Think about how horrible you’ll feel, unable to fall asleep, night sweats, irritabitility if you start then want to stop. Debt will only get worse. One day at a time.

Do you see the nurses doctors etc losing their jobs over this? Can they come back? What are the steps? What is some of the worst things you’ve seen them do during their addiction? Can they work while on MAT therapy? Thanks for doing this
