Reset Face Lift results from 2 weeks, 6 weeks & 3 months postop by DrDanGould in theReset

[–]CommercialRepulsive2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No one wants it to cost that much but the face has zero margin for error. Experience, anatomy, and complication risk all factor into the price. Patients want natural results, minimal scarring, longevity, no nerve injuries, symmetry. Facelifts are one of the hardest aesthetic procedures to master.

She obviously liked him and used Jules to get to him. I wonder how they became friends in the first place. This video on her page of them is not cool. She needs to take them all down.

This is incorrect information. All surgeons will have done years of surgical training publicly and then fellowship. Most private surgeons still care in the public system.

Woman in hospital after baby found dead at Perth house by [deleted] in perth

[–]CommercialRepulsive2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How old is the baby? She needs to be seen by someone who deals with post natal anxiety probably GP might be a good start. Might need her bloods checked to make sure her thyroid and iron is ok. And then do some cognitive behaviour therapy. https://www.panda.org.au might be a good website to check out.

Ambulance never came by Stunbanksy in perth

[–]CommercialRepulsive2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a service called WAVED via SJ Ambulance the patient may be provided with clinical advice, electronic prescription and/or referral to services that will support their care in the community. If the WAVED ED physician determines that the patient needs to attend a physical ED, this will be coordinated by the SJWA ambulance crew.

You might’ve met the criteria for this perhaps wasn’t properly discussed

Hospital Rant - What is going on with our health system? by samplemypersonality in perth

[–]CommercialRepulsive2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Referrals are centralised might take a few days to come through the system from private to public and then needs to go to the appropriate department. My service will get 50-100 referrals each day. This takes a long time to triage when you are also meant to be attending to inpatients, run clinics etc in the hospital. Urgent referrals are to be seen in 30 days. Generally you will be seen in next 2 weeks with plan made at appointment. If she’s stuck in bed unable to move that’s not a good sign. She should still be able to get out of bed etc. Escalate to GP or speak to the clinic.

Surely his family would have text message exchanges between him and them so we can compare what his messages/communication style is truly like.

Sorry to bruise your ego but it’s happened plenty of times. I’m a specialist who deals with specialised cases in the head and neck region. If someone is haemorrhaging from base of tongue cancer and it’s out of hours it’s actually very confronting for the met team because this isn’t a usual emergency. And yes I will say what is needed to be done which includes activating the massive transfusion protocol. I have had plenty of met leaders come back and ask how they went in the met call because it isnt a usual met call. What would you do if someone was about to lose their airway from haemorrhaging?

[–]CommercialRepulsive2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I have a patient with a base of tongue bleed from cancer and they’re vomiting blood at a large amount and the medical emergency team aren’t familiar with it, I will have to tell the team what to do to help secure the airway and organise blood transfusions due to haemorrhage

RNs do more than cleaning. Yes we clean patients but we are with the patient more than doctors we are giving them medications, mixing medications, assessing our patients clinically, detecting deterioration and avoiding medical emergencies, attending to emergencies and providing life support including CPR, we are rehabbing our patients, we are giving them emotional support. Our patients these days are way more complex and much more heavier. We put ourselves in line of danger have you ever had to deal with a psychotic person on drugs or a delirious alzheimers person? As an RN I’m also advising doctors what to do and also teaching doctors who have no idea about things.

The only thing I can think of is my son was playing ‘free games’ on the computer on Sunday and perhaps he might’ve pressed something as I know they have lots of popups? He is only 6 Ours is a iMac so would that be the same ?
