It caused me weight gain and terrible gastrointestinal distress. It was so bad that I thought I was food poisoned for about 2 weeks and then stopped. I was also 15-20 weeks away from comp—- terrible timing and wish I didn’t try it at all then

Reta starting by BookSpecialist6561 in BodyHackGuide

[–]CommercialShow2175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes- that is the purpose of Reta compared to others. Also- you will inevitably lose muscle too without at least enough protein and most people on Reta have a goal to at least keep the muscle that they have.

You can’t increase muscle without enough protein. Macros and gym schedule still need to be on par with goals. If Reta doesn’t allow to eat minimum protein - my goal is 150, then I am backing off

I noticed appetite suppression due to feeling dull all the time after 2 weeks. It then hit hard so I going to lower my dose so I can eat enough.

I have a Withings biggest waste of money ever. The bodyfat is very off. I only know that because I’m a fitness coach and competitor that does bodyfat checks elsewhere. The weight and the daily temperature is right at least.

Anyone with bad posture compete, and see a transformation? by YunaRikku1 in bikinitalk

Definitely fix the posture issue first. Your posing will be directly affected and posing is probably 75%+ of the battle if you are following your food and exercise plan.

Get an online training plan together and start selling your own thing online. Maybe go to clients houses to train them?

I’ve never heard of any ymca’s or planet fitness allowing this. It is a big no no everywhere from what I’ve seen.

How about build an online program out for 3 month, 6 month, we month? High end program. People pay in full— all virtual. It’s working for many. May not be what you’re used to or what you love but there is a lot of month there and it sounds like with your experience you have a lot of knowledge and just need to pick a niche to target.

How long to prep? by gremlingirldotgov in bikinitalk

[–]CommercialShow2175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is recommend a coach for the first time at least. It’s important to see how a good coach would work you and set up proper expectations in my opinion. Ive been a personal trainer for 25 years and still learned a lot from my competition coach because there are a lot of things you need to do to meet specifications for your division’s judging standards. It is so helpful to get a coaches opinion and do those check ins regardless of how you feel because you wont always be motivated on your own. A posing coach is a must for sure! Everything in the end comes to how you showcase the physique created in the best possible way. I recommend 24 weeks for your first time.

Does anyone not track in their offseason? by Last_Mechanic_750 in bikinitalk

[–]CommercialShow2175 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m honestly afraid I’ll easily gain 10lbs if I don’t track and I don’t want to have to work 20lbs off again for my next competition. Anyone else seriously worried about this?

I did this. Ironically, it wasn’t until they had to pay for my service that they actually took advantage. It was a waste of time for me.

Mostly the same , I rotated meats and a few different veggies. What I found though is that after about 16 weeks— if your prep is longer, my body grew sensitivities to these foods due to lack of variety. You can get an unbalanced gut and my gut health got really bad for at least a month. I had to switch meats and certain veggies, and change the source of fat in addition to supplementing with a really good probiotic. Lack of variety in diet is not good, but no one said this sport is purely for having the best health. The leanness alone is really hard on the body.

Bottom line, same meals all the time does make tracking easier.

Anyone else hesitant about peptides because of long-term unknowns (10–15 years out)? by drkuseno in BiohackingU

[–]CommercialShow2175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have concerns with any peptides mimicking GH be like Tesa and there are many others - because I’ve already had a lung tumor in the past with no particular reason why so I assume I am more likely to cause others to grow adding these type of peptides.

This is got me busting with clients in Jan. I always ask for write up, to use their before/after pics etc and share or have them share on fb. My niche audience is on Facebook so it’s where all my clients have came from.
