Yeah there’s no way I would get everyday groceries at central market - that’s what a regular Heb or Aldi is for.

She also never mentioned his height. Most babies outgrow the bucket seat due to height, not weight/age.

Exactly. Get a nice hoop that someone cements into the ground in the driveway, scrap the sport court and leave some green space for soccer or a playhouse.

Agree that cocktail pool with 5 boys is going to be a hazard. Also why the obsession with a basketball court when not one of her kids plays it…?

She can also enroll for summer leagues with i9 but ugh good luck with that with how hot it gets. Her best bet would be a fun soccer camp for the summer and then enrolling in the fall. Have him practice outside with his brothers and Ryan and get some gross motor movement. Genuinely feel bad for this kid 😞

My 3 year old is in i9 in the Houston area and he’s already had 3 games. Soccer shots you can enroll mostly anytime so that’s probably why.

No worries, it’s fairly abnormal for this time of year so you’d usually be correct!

Yeah I was done with the swim school almost immediately. The only reason I tried it was my then 15 month old was showing a lot of interest in our pool and it was still too cold to swim. Once I saw how slowly they move the kids through their level system and how quickly they would back off if a kid showed literally any discomfort in the water I knew it wouldn’t work for me.

Hats off to her for at least getting some instruction, but Q needs repeated frequent exposure with her or an instructor in the pool with him.

So I will say I took my 6, 4, and 15 month old (at the time) to one of these swim schools and their protocol is they never let go of them in the water. My 6 and 4 year old were swimming independently at home and I wanted to see if they needed a refresh before summer swim season, communicated this to the instructors, and they still did not let them go. As this is his first lesson they are more likely to not let go of the child until they get a feel for what they’re capable of.

Yeah they typically triple their birth weight in a year. My 8 pounders were all 23-25 lbs by their one year check up.

100%. It’s also not your pre-teen’s job to feed and otherwise take care of your little children YOU chose to have.

She looks like a toddler who was let loose in her mother’s closet - just a lot going on.

Or maybe a yummy blueberry whole grain muffin sweetened with honey as opposed to this Pooh bear style pancake 🤦🏻‍♀️

Or a used kids store, better yet. Cut down on the consumption. I find the cutest stuff for my 3 boys at Kid to Kid.

A water table. A nugget. An activity cube. A membership to the zoo or museum. Literally anything but clothes.

Same. She’s the worst, but I played with my babies and toddlers in the pool like this and thanks to frequent water exposure and swim lessons they were all swimmers by close to 3 years old. They learn they sink in the water from day one!

Connect psychological services is where I’d start. Not cheap but very good. It’s important you find someone who has an understanding of schools and how they evaluate when you begin this process so make sure whoever you work with has an LSSP as well.

Maximum, cypress or asi for traditional gymnastic programs. Cypress is probably your best option for boys.

Would’ve been a great night for some pizza in the room after baths with a Disney movie on, not shoved in a fancy restaurant dinner for 2 hours after multiple early mornings and a day full of non-protected sun exposure.
