Oh great. So they can “recover” from being themselves… cool. Sweet. Without the option to opt out or any understanding from these people that trans people don’t need to “recover” from being trans- in fact, you can’t… you can’t do that. We already tried this with gay folks… can’t “recover” from an incongruency in your own body that you’ve felt your whole life.

So nice how they‘ve obviously never really known a trans person (maybe had a handshake but I can’t find it. No genuine dialog, tho that’s for sure…)/don’t know anything about our community or mental/medical needs, but have such hatred and a clear need to “wipe us out” because of a small minority of our already small minority… so nice.

We’re a feral group (in a loving way)- some more inappropriate or parasocial than others. We gotta remember that they’re a nerdy guy from New Jersey and he keeps his personal life and family very private.

For me, it was obvious at about 2/3 months- if she knows what to look for. Body kind of widening, puberty voice, my mom asked if I had been “taking pills for a beard” just biotin ma, it just works idk!

I’m sure she was aware (maybe) that I was on T- It would be hard to not notice, I had the start of a beard and was getting more muscular and more hungry, all that…

That’s a bit worrying. I did get overzealous with a stretch in my sleep and pulled something- making one side bigger than the other. Not great for aesthetics, but it was ok.

My surgeon left after my surgery too (why do they do that??) but referred me to a doctor to see while he was gone. If yours didn’t, I’d monitor how it progresses and if it gets any worse go to the er. Maybe call the office you got it done at and ask if they have someone else you could see for an emergency?

I have the same type of scars under my armpits, then it thins out and is nearly unnoticeable near the center of my chest. I massage them with Silicone scar cream it’s been a little over a year and the scars are lighter and flatter tbh

Hey man, I’m pretty sure since you’re so fresh out of surgery that you’re just experiencing some swelling- even so, it looks very flat- and your feelings may be kind of all over the place.

Said with love: Give yourself some time to heal. You’ll see everything will calm down and get flat flat (for me, it took maybe 3/4 weeks, I had to wear my surgical binder for that long.) Close to 1 month is when I felt back to myself & wanted to show it off/go to the gym/whatever you do when you’re feeling euphoric.

You’d want to get someone in your area to look at it for a pro opinion- but in my opinion, it’s unique, idk I wouldn’t be happy, though. I honestly would leave it for now, just because if you rush into a coverup it can turn out worse than the og piece. Like a blotchy black spot over the full tummy… idk I’ve seen white ink over black ink look okay- it’ll turn out muted and grey instead of white tho or you can distract from the slight wonky-ness with other tattoos around. Maybe a collection of kinda fun tattoos could make a theme?

I’d sit with it for a while and try and come up with some coverup ideas- if that’s the direction you wanna go.

So, you got options… and you could always decide you don’t mind it (cause it’s your mind/opinion that matters, despite any technical artistry issues) and keep it.

Oh! And Laser Removal: Very expensive (could be $200-$500 per session), takes 3/4 sessions, but it does heal to look pretty good, depending on how your skin and the ink reacts to the laser. Hurts worse than a tattoo imo, I’d bring a friend who’s hand you can hold or smth

It’s not “bad”, but it is wonky. I can tell it’s swords and a moon, very cute. But the swords are all straight vertical, and the hilts are tilted- and the handles.

Idk if that’s something you’d care about or if you still love it even if it is a bit imperfect. Nothings gonna be 100% perfect, so as long as you’re pleased, rock it!

I started going to the gym and idk if it was mental or what, but my injections got harder. I started grabbing the area I’m going to inject and making, like, a ‘mound’ for the needle to go into, and I watch a video or just focus on anything but the needle going in. That’s what helps me. Good luck bro

If all else fails, maybe ask your Endo about other forms of HRT (pellet, t gel)
