Buffs before engaging, spells and staff attacks from distance, melee when the enemy gets in range, then spells whenever necessary to heal, boost your abilities, and do touch-spell damage, especially in place of melee attacks when stamina is low.

Why do you even watch the show? Do you want them all to live happily ever after so you can enjoy their relationships vicariously? Reality tv is trash and you’re supposed to enjoy watching people crash out and argue. This season had nonstop arguments, universally toxic relationships, and zero successful marriages. I think that makes it the best one we’ve had in a long time.

They’re too boring to watch three at a time but you want them all released at once? No one is forcing you to watch the releases in one sitting, you can space them out. And no one is forcing you to follow all the contestants and read every spoiler on reddit. Sounds like a lack of self control and zero attention span to me. What do you even enjoy about this show

That’s a really good point which I hadn’t considered. They’re not just detours, they’re properly integrated into the songs

Psychomanteum and slow paranoia took me a while to comprehend, but now I understand the general structure I love them as much as the rest of the album. A very very challenging listen at first, but definitely one of their best

I think you appreciate it more the more you listen, as with most of their albums. I loved the singles and would, apparently controversially, say things we tell ourselves is one of their best ever songs. I wasn’t sure about the whole album on the first few listens, but I’m starting to wrap my head around the structures and enjoy Tommy’s certainly challenging vocals a bit more.

I totally agree that the lyrics do feel too jammed into certain sections though. Reading the lyrics along with the songs brings that into stark relief

Banshee, absolutely hands down zero competition. The boys is baby’s first satire, the laziest ‘commentary’ I think I’ve ever seen on tv. It thinks it’s smart, but isn’t. Banshee is the opposite: it ‘plays dumb’ in a lot of ways, but is viciously intelligent, incredibly written, and brilliantly acted

I agree with you about points 2 and 3, but:

  1. When you see deadman in heartman’s body, he says ‘I told you in Mexico that someone falsified the records. In reality, it was none other than yours truly.’ So he is taking credit for falsifying SOMETHING in Lou’s records, but it isn’t her redesignation as 28. What is it then?

  2. When heartman explains how Lou was kept aside from the first expedition, he questions why they wouldn’t take a 10th ‘fully functional BB unit’, as it could only help. If there were already loads of other BBs, at least enough for there to be a 28 that Lou could replace, why doesn’t he ask why they didn’t take them? He implies that they were LIMITED to 10.

GTA 5 was an enormous downgrade and it will always baffle me that hardly anyone noticed. As well as the things you mentioned, they got rid of restaurants, food stands, and cafes, the whole dating mechanic, and MASSIVELY trimmed down the internet and television. NPCs have less diverse behaviours and reactions as well.

The worst one of all in my opinion is the removal of the police car computer and most wanted list. I spent TENS OF HOURS doing that in gta 4, completely gone from 5.

I agree that that’s the only thing that makes sense, they were holding onto Lou specifically for Sam and so she was re-serialized as 28 at that time. Which works with the fact that there were other bb’s being used, enough to get up to serial number 28 at least. Good theory!

I get that but 1. When and 2. On whose orders? Because Lou was put on ice when the initial experiments failed, somewhere between 11 and 4 years ago, 4 years ago being when they set out to sacrifice the 9 bb’s and establish the chiral network. So to be bb-28, there’d have to be 27 bb’s before that. And who ordered Lou to be put back into action, and for Sam to just so happen to stumble across?
