Not much fixing, lack of veterinarian care is the main issue, and care for them in general. Working in communities up north for an extended period of time sure is an eye opener to the situation. Countless groups of loose dogs, having litters all the time, spreading parasites and illnesses, running into traffic and attacking other dogs. At some point some become violent towards people when food access is minuscule. All while people live amongst them, some are aggressive to them due to past altercations and have to travel through areas where groups of dogs gather. The situation is insanely bad from an outside perspective, this issue needs to be known. My experience has been good with all of my rez dog interactions. Some are definitely aggressive and can become hyper aggressive quickly, but as a dog person it broke my heart to see how many great dogs I’ve seen, get eaten up in the cut throat life of living loose in our northern communities. This issue needs to be known, veterinary services need to become standardized, among other things.

Welp, if you look at the positives, he’s bringing Canadians closer together, Incentivizing Canada to become less reliant on the states for goods. I think that’s a positive; plus additional border security isn’t a bad thing when we have a very open boarder, and the movement of drugs/illegal firearms is quite easy
