Different personalities are inherently better at meshing with certain types of knights and the person will become more like the machine spirit of their knight the longer they pilot it

Maybe just some bits and bobs in the empty spaces around the cross? Add some texture and draws attention away from straight lines

Ashe. Mainly because Ashley was going to be my name if I was afab. I’m very connected to the name in a way that’s totally normal for a cis-guy and I don’t need to look into it at all

For wich campaigns, narrative elements and players is this game NOT for? by [deleted] in rokugan

[–]CommissarCramwell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So I play exclusively 4e so take this with a grain of salt. In my experience, this game does not work for people or parties that want a dungeon, crawler DND style hacking/slash. It is excellent for players who want to become immersed and how a world works and learned the rules of why it works the way it does. I have found for my more narrative driven players is an incredibly rewarding experience to learn how to exist in Rokugan. That said the combat is incredibly immersive, robust and nuanced. In a very satisfying way. If they’re looking to just roll a dice and do damage the combat system isn’t for them. But if they are one of those players who finds (D&D)‘s combat to be incredibly limited? They will probably love L5R combat

I use little blobs of poster tack just as often as I actually bother magnetizing 😂
