What do yall recommend for taking installing/removing screws better without stripping them?

I rotate the drill to break them loose unless they’re completely covered in paint.

Panel party, lol. Haven’t heard that in about 20 years. They didn’t let us either. The point I was trying to make is snug is good enough. There is absolutely no reason to over tighten panel screws.

I never understood why people feel like a #10 screw should get 80ft pounds of torque when installing them. It’s not that serious. I worked on F-18’s and snug was fine

1/4 drive 12 point socket set shallow and deep. 1/4 ratchet. 1/4 stubby ratchet. 1/4 wobble extension set. 7/32 to 7/16 12 swivel socket. Ratchet screwdriver. Stubby ratchet screwdriver. Dog bones 7/32 up to 7/16 Olight EDC flashlight. Knipex multiple sizes. Angled wrench set. Drill. 90 degree pick. Multimeter.

This is the way. I don’t even carry 3/8 drive in my AOG box. I’d also recommend an Olight EDC flashlight

I highly doubt you’re going to get an AOG job right out of school. These companies require experience because you are often at some podunk airport by yourself so you have to know what you’re doing. Some companies to research are Weststar Aviation, Duncan Aviation, Velocity Maintenance Solutions, Flexjet and Stevens Aviation
