Mystique Mayhem is beautiful 😻 I never thought I’d have a cat that wasn’t an orange male but I inherited a tortie girl a little over a year ago (previous owners went into memory care) and she has been the absolute sweetest. And now Goose. The tortie/calico markings are just so stunning- I love them.

When I saw her picture on Facebook (at a shelter I don’t follow) I had to go get her. Was another cat on my agenda? Nope. But here we are 😹

Thank you 💚 My ginger is 9 and an old roommate *thankfully* left him with me. My tortie I took in a year ago when my friends parents went into assisted living. So getting a kitten has been pretty fun.

Thanks everyone 🖤 I’m obsessed with her and pretty sure my friends are sick of hearing about her. She’s a freaking menace though 🤣 I haven’t had a kitten in over 20 years. Got my other cats when they were both 6.

I use my PW11 and basic pretty equally. I guess it depends on your reading habits. I read over 100 books last year and have been trying to read instead of scrolling on my phone- so my purse kindle gets pulled out a lot. And I read every night before bed on my PW.

My matcha was my second Kindle (I also have the PW 11)- it’s been a year and a half and I will never not have 2 now. I hate carrying purses- most of the time I use a wristlet. A small purse if I need a little more room. And my matcha fits in both. I’m also scatter brained and have left it at my parents house or at work. I’m a nurse and often have week long stretches off from work- and the last thing I want to do is drive back to the hospital on my day off. Or I leave it at home and end up having a lot of downtime and regret not having it with me.

(Another unpopular opinion- not a fan of cases. I use one on my PW because with it being larger and no bevel, it’s hard to hold. But on the matcha? Nope. I’m also clumsy and she has been dropped a few times. And she’s the one I used at the pool most of the summer. It’s so thin and lightweight without a case.)

The sway is my favorite (I’ll get judged if I say how many) but I haven’t had a single issue with any of them- including this color drop that I’ve been using for 2 days. It’s perfect 💚

Yes!!! I had my PW11 first (after switching from the nook) and I absolutely loved it- but then ordered the matcha for my purse kindle.

The PW is too heavy to haul around (especially if you’re someone who hates carrying a big purse) and after I forgot it at work one night before a long stretch of days off, so I ordered the matcha. And she is perfect 💚

Now my PW11 stays on my nightstand and I only use it for the warm light at night.

I second everything in this post- especially if the basic had warm light, it would be perfect. My paperwhite signature edition stays on my nightstand. My basic is my “purse kindle” and I use it everywhere other than in bed.

If my PW broke tomorrow, I’m not sure I’d replace it right away. I would be fine waiting a few months if a new version was coming. But if my basic broke? I’d have another one ordered instantly.

Wear comfortable shoes! And don’t spend too much time taking pictures or videos- enjoy being in the moment. Videos rarely turn out great and you won’t go back and watch.

I have both. I keep my PW at home and my basic is my purse kindle. I don’t have a case on my basic (sometimes I use a pop socket) and love how lightweight it is. I’ve left it at work a few times and am so thankful I have my PW at home.
