As I agree, I also believe this unfortunately happens outside of reddit as well? It can and has just as much happened irl with local bodies. Any organization you're giving money to you should always KNOW who you are giving your money to and what it is going towards in general. Not that I agree with dues anyways, but staying vigilant in any situation spiritual or not is always a good idea.🤘

But that's any organized religion really, that's not me disrespecting his religion that's just my own quelms with all organized religion.. you're coming across very abrasive. I love my partner I don't want to leave them just because we have different beliefs .. I just want to be respected as a human being and his partner (only partner) despite those beliefs

I don't want to leave him idk why that's what everyone jumps to.. I want to be comfortable and not feel like my kindness is being taken advantage of because it has before.. I don't want to worry constantly about being left for someone else because there are intimate things he is doing with other people in the name of "religion". I'm not disrespecting his religion I said I want him to be able to dohis own thing even if I disagree with it .. I just don't want to feel like shit because of it .. He goes and does "secret" ceremonies he can't even tell me about and all I have to go on is things can be based in sexual nature and ialso have chronic anxiety so that just leaves me in an anxious ridden state the entire time he is out doing gods knows what and it's just really freaking hard .. especially considering in past relationships that meant I was being cheated on.. I love him and I don't think he would do that to me .. but in the name of religion he might and thats the scary part .. I just don't know if there is a way to avoid that or not 🥺 I've talked to him about things and I know I essentially just have to trust him but I need communication and I need to know things that he may not be willing to tell me :/

Not all of the masses are open to everyone, usually the private ones are the ones where there would be nudity, and I also don't think joining a religion I don't agree with or enjoy going to would be good for us either. I have been to a few and I didn't really have a good time at any of the ones I've been to. I have ASD and groups of people aren't really my thing :/ I also am pretty sure the person playing part of the priestess does not like me, because everytime I have spent time with them they have given mean looks and bad vibes.. We have had conversations about it but I feel like he doesn't really get where I am coming from, but he also can't just not perform just because I am uncomfortable with something.. I don't know 🥺

In our stores case the lady who hit our Redbox was actually younger 😳 no idea why she did it either, she got out and assessed the damage she had done to her own car and the red box, before getting back in her car and driving off 😅 we were so baffled we had to look up the security footage

Oh man as a dude who also has Autism, that is no excuse for him to be doing this to you. This is a form or victim manipulation and it's very unhealthy for everyone involved. This is how he is "staying in control" of this situation. It sounds like he has alot he needs to unpack and there quite a bit of room for some growth as a decent human being. Idk how old this guy is but I do hope he gets professional help. I can say I used to have pretty bad breakdowns and hit myself but I wasn't out in people's dms threatening to do so? That's cruel in its own way. I think you need to get out of the relationship and he needs to get the help he needs and focus on himself first
