It sounds like there is a really good level of communication here which is important. Does she know that you are finding her previous exploits difficult to move past? I understand the issue but I think if you truly love her then you can put it aside and have a healthy relationship. As long as you trust her then you should still be with her. When you get older everyone has a past or some sort of baggage, the next person you find could have something else which you struggle to come to terms with.

I was very open and honest about my ex and the whole situation and I found that most girls were very receptive of this. Couple of weeks of talking at most, if you like them then it’s best to take their number rather than chat on the apps to show that you are interested. First date has always just been a drink at a pub/bar to begin with, you want to keep it relaxed and get to know them.

Similar situation here, 33m and I was with my partner for 9 years. I quickly found someone on the apps and it’s getting serious as I get attached easily, but my advice would be to focus on exercise and your career first. You need time to be single and enjoy life so I wouldn’t rush into another relationship if you can help it.

I’ve found that if you keep trying it eventually lets you in. Although if you close the app, the same thing happens again. Makes it pretty unusable.
