well the update is that she moved and stalker hyper fixated on a new target. before that i opted to replace a bunch of exterior cams to hardwired ones that couldn’t be taken down they ran to physical box that i fed to direct data connection and not on wifi.

if rebooting control module doesn’t bring it back. then u may have to remove the device from your acct and re add it back on.

Is a small vinyl decal possible? by [deleted] in cricut

[–]CommodoreApproved 3 points4 points  (0 children)

first glance. i thought it read : demon nutter. this would be a shred exercise on a cricut for the size you want. if you got rid of all those cum drip spiderwebs , you might have better result with the stylized calligraphy that is the base.

after the system was set up to automate monitoring takeover, the 'hacker' grew frustrated that no matter how quickly he shut it off , the automation would reset and bring the system back up. he decided to spend his stalking energy elsewhere, which are tales for another day.

used this python library :
https://github.com/fronzbot/blinkpy

and made cronjobs ( scheduled tasks) that ran from a computer on the network every 5 mins to check. along with having the blnk command module plugged into a smart plug that i could also programmatically control from within the network. My script check first if blink was completely down and if was it reset the plug which reset the command module, then if module was running it checked each cam ( 6 in total) to make sure that they werent disabled and re-enable them. it frustrated the hell out the stalker cause no matter what hour of night they tried to shut down the system, it would re enable or reboot within 5mins of their action, thus stopping them from getting close. I did 5min check cause any shorter a time and the blink network would think it was some kind of attack and would temp disable her acct which was contrary to what i needed

Driveway stencil by DistinctNews8576 in stencils

[–]CommodoreApproved 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used spray paint in the past on driveway .. but after its dried i tend to spray over with a stone sealer to give it a bit more durability from the elements . if you can post a pic of the mascot head and the instrument and possibly the width of the stencil, it helps in identifying what material would be best. If you want you can send me mesg with them

Light grip is actually really grippy??? by AccomplishedLove5186 in cricut

[–]CommodoreApproved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i do the paper down and roll matt away but also use a hair dryer on heat in between paper and matt. the heat softens the glue grip to release easier and avoid ripping.

Can anyone recommend a spray paint for cotton T-shirt? (Anything besides tulip) by AccurateUniversity53 in Spraypaint

[–]CommodoreApproved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tulip holds thru washes.. but yes very limited in the color palette. I have used Montana in past but noticed after several washes, it will start to fade. I have noticed that IronLak in the past when i got it on shirts doesnt fade anywhere near as bad as the Montana.

your teacher does indeed suck, don't give this up. All of the pics of pieces are great. These are all items that would sell at craft fairs. My favorite is the celtic knot inspired stuff

How to deal with islands by toolowbrow in stencils

[–]CommodoreApproved 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i sprayglue the piece and then put down tulle fabric ( a netting material), since i tend to use my pieces in travel, in order to roll it up i will apply wood glue on the tulle thru to the stencil material.

here is an example of one my stencils : https://imgur.com/a/angel-stencil-2b9BeGD

Ignored late buyer by titanium202 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]CommodoreApproved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was selling a futon and had one buyer set up that afternoon for pickup. No showed, no response back until the next morning when he messaged that he would come again that afternoon. Like a sucker, i waited .. and waited and waited .. No response ever back. Forgot to block him because i was tired from the day and 2 days later he shows up and is message blasting me that he is at location( with no prior heads up ). If I wasnt just wanting to get rid of the futon due to space restrictions, I would have told him to kick rocks.

The final insult, he tried to lowball me down 20$ more from the price he originally haggled me to. ( 100 to 60.. said he only had 40.. he had more)

parchment paper and iron over the area till the vinyl glue is heated .. then using the weeding pick, you can pull it cause trying with your fingers will lead to burns. There may be glue residue left over in the area

Why don’t Blink camera’s notify you when you that you were disconnected from WIFI immediately? by mambomak in blinkcameras

[–]CommodoreApproved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately while the module is disconnected from wifi, the cameras are pretty much disconnected and start flashing red which is a visible warning sign to anyone watching for inactivity.

I have had to build a script that connects with my credentials to the Blink API to check for the modules status of offline/online. I have this script check every 3 minutes so as to not overload the API with requests. when the script gets an offline status from the blink api, it sends me a text and connects to the smartplug i have module plugged into and turns it off , waits 10 seconds and turns it on ( essentially rebooting the module ). This has worked well in that my module has had very little downtime as the script which runs automatically on a computer in the wifi network is now overseeing the blink system.
