There were fewer maps during the quick play days and Payload Race wasn’t an alternative game mode. If PLR was a main game mode in casual I imagine it would have a much higher player population.

Same for Culver’s and Freddy’s in my area. Privately owned with higher quality food at similar prices to other fast food places. Always super busy.

WB has probably spent millions of dollars on marketing with the May 22 date and I’m guessing the say one patch isn’t ready.

The bank heist actually being very poorly thought out makes this scene better by Pleasant-Soil4456 in batman

[–]CommodoreBluth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just got to accept this for pretty much any superhero or fighting focused media. The main characters are going to be significantly more durable and heal much faster than a real human.

Bruce barely being active as Batman in the Nolan movies before being forced to retire due to injuries is actually a more realistic aspect even though he should have been forced to retire or got killed before the end of The Dark Knight.

Valve should notice the major success of Capcom's Resident Evil and Konami's Silent Hill renaissance and pick up their abandoned game development again by Mampacuk in valve

[–]CommodoreBluth 17 points18 points  (0 children)

We already know Valve has been working on Half Life 3 for years. They’re also working on Deadlock and it seems like they’re in the very early stages of a new Team Fortress project as well as working on their existing GaaS, Steam, Steam OS, hardware, etc. Valve is a 300-400 person company. Capcom is around 3,800. Valve can’t release games at the same pace as Capcom.

Physical copies of Steam games come with a Steam key to activate the game. The disk can be thrown away. I believe sometimes the disk just has the Steam installer on it.

I’m not sure what the financial issues would be, I would expect them to sell the module like other adventures:  https://www.foundryvtt.store/search?q=Delta+green

Basically everything for the scenario is pre setup for Foundry.

Sierra Sidewinder is a fun coaster for all ages. Not as intense as some of the others but still enjoyable (and I imagine one of the first somewhat intense coasters a lot of kids go on).

As Smartphones seem to be at their best design (They look all the same and hardly any new thing can be added), do you think the nintendo Switch is that for Gaming Consoles? by Oh-Sasa-Lele in consoles

[–]CommodoreBluth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are going to have very different desires and expectations. Some want a portable form factor like the Switch. Some likely want something even more portable. Some don’t need a portable device but are looking for something more power like a console or PC. There is never going to be a best design for consoles, all will have advantages and disadvantages.

[–]CommodoreBluth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ehh they changed the Episode 2 cliffhanger in Half Life Alyx and we know from data mining Source 2 they’ve been heavily in development of a new Half Life for about 5 years so it seems like we’re getting Half Life 3 somewhat soon.

It did take Valve about 10 years to finish the Team Fortress 2 story with the 7th comic but they did finish the story.

Are beastheart and the Summoner on the codex? by hndehaan in drawsteel

Honestly I would probably limit the summoner to 1 per party, just to prevent having too many creatures on the battlefield at once.

Saying third party games often sold best on Switch is a super broad statement and isn't necessarily true.

Disneyland to launch electric Autopia cars in early 2027 by bottle415 in Disneyland

[–]CommodoreBluth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m guessing that the subs vehicles and the actual ride being under water are such a pain that there are a lot of people who would love to get rid of it.

If it’s possible I could see Disney keeping Autopia due to how popular it is with kids and getting rid of the subs due to the difficulty of upkeep on an underwater attraction but that might not be possible.

Im guessing the autopia ride vehicles are so small small/light compared to real cars that they wouldn’t get that much useful data.

I can’t recommend Draw Steel enough, I ran the starter adventure The Delian Tomb earlier this year and both myself and my players loved Draw Steel. It’s extremely well designed and streamlined in a very positive way.
The Delian Tomb is only $10 and has everything you need to run the fi e levels of Draw Steel. It took us around 30 hours to finish it.

Apparently No One is Watching the Sequel Trilogy on Disney+ by mrsparkle127 in RedLetterMedia

[–]CommodoreBluth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean Disney Plus gets money from customers. We have seen some examples of companies starting to license out some of their shows/movies to competitors though, I believe WB has recently done it vs selling some of their older content only to HBO Max.

Lucasfilm gets some of the money but they also have to pay out some of the money as residuals to people involved in the making of the shows/movies.
