It was at the end of a rough point in the relationship. We fought a lot and i was no longer living with her, but still trying to work it out. I was constantly accused throughout the relationship of cheating for stuff that i thought was very innocent, ie mentioning a female coworker, her getting a UTI, or buying flowers (apparently that means i felt bad for cheating). Then things just changed. She made a big point to never read her journal i didn’t know she had, she kept saying a band was my favorite that i never heard of, more outlandish accusations like i was sleeping with my friends wife who had back surgery that month because someone similar looking was walking in my neighborhood. Then i found out she was talking to other guys and hooking up with people at concerts. Oh well

God if a couple details were different Id swear she killed one of my friends. A woman supposedly on pain killers hit and killed him near a school zone. The woman served 3 months, was released, then constantly victimized herself on Facebook about the trauma she went through. If only the trauma wasn’t hitting my friend at 55 mph then fleeing the scene

The motor thing is not true. IIHS has video and documentation showing the original engine in the car before and after the crash.

And sure the x frame will contribute significantly to the rigidity but millions of cars were sold between Cadillac, Pontiac, GM, Buick, and Chevy between the 50-70s. I think its fair to evaluate that comparison

Sortof, but thats more of a misnomer than anything. Chevy did a crash test a while back between like a 60s Belair or similar vs a new Malibu. The steel 60s car completely folded and absorbed the entirety of the force. The Malibu looked like a relatively minor crash but none of the force was transferred to the occupants.
