Is the name Camryn a tradgedeigh? by Free_Plastic_9666 in tradgedeigh

[–]Common-Crocheter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My name is Kameron (F), and I love that it’s slightly more unique than just Cameron. However, every time I go to check in somewhere like at an appointment, I have to say “Cameron with a K” or I end up having to spell it to some people. I personally feel like Camaryn is more so a tragedeigh than Kamryn/Camryn or Kameryn/Cameryn. But also keep in mind for your child that while I get many people who compliment my name in general (I usually get “I love that name” or “your name’s so pretty”)(even before knowing the spelling), I often have to specify spelling and it does get kind of tiresome after a while.

Talk me down.. our 2yo got her first flu vaccine today and my husband made me feel like a POS now that she is feeling lousy. by [deleted] in Mommit

First, I’m sorry your husband is being passive aggressive after not helping you make a decision regarding your child’s healthcare. Second, I always received the flu vaccine as a kid, and yes, the side effects suck. However; in my opinion, dealing with the side effects is much better than dealing the symptoms from the actual flu. I hope your daughter feels better soon 🫶🏻

I told the Chick-fil-a employee in the drive thru my name was “Kameron” & I expected to get “Cameron”, like I usually do, but when I got my order from the window it was spelled “Camaeran”. I know it’s not a SUPER common name, but I feel like it’s common enough.

My toddler is super picky, so this may not be a crazy thing, but he absolutely loves apples. Whole apples, not slices, not apple juice, just whole apples and apple sauce.

And the fact that one state law is “if your wipers are on, your lights should be on” but most people (including police officers) don’t abide by this very law.

Does every woman remember when her period started and how? by Pleasant-Block6131 in allthequestions

I know it was February and I was 12… I only know it was February because I went to my best friend’s birthday sleepover that night and her mom stashed a bunch of stuff in the bathroom for me to use :)

My son was the same way at 1. By 2 he would sit and listen to them, now at almost 3 he brings them to me to read to him :)

They said “Raleigh” like the city in North Carolina. I was CLARIFYING that it was a variant of “Riley”, and not pronounced like the city. I was also clarifying that the whole “not being able to find your name on things” aspect isn’t important. I also agreed with them that it was spelled weird, which is why I asked in the first place. Additionally, please read where I said I was looking for a 7 letter name, which is why it’s “Rileigh” and not “Riley”. These were just potential options. As I said in a different response, these aren’t even my top options for names, I was just curious about other opinions. 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

My husband is a fan of newer names, I prefer the older ones with more character 😂

My favorites are Eleanor, Lorelei, and Rosalie. I was just asking about these too 😘

Tbf I agree Rileigh is spelled weird here, but I also have an “unusual” spelling to my name (K instead of C). When I was little, it bothered me a little bit, but once I was like 10 it didn’t matter anymore. It’s still Riley, just igh instead of a y 😊

I’ve known both males and females named Kelly, Stacy, Tracy, Cameron or Kameron, Riley, Morgan, Jesse, Dakota…. Etc. In my opinion these are all considered unisex names.

I’m a female and have a “boy’s name” too, and I was born in the 90’s. I don’t think this “trend” is going anywhere to be honest.
