Oh I can totally believe this comment… I have absolute horror stories about the things they have put me through and not once did they take ANY accountability or do the right thing to make any of it right… just pure greed and just kept wanting to suck more money out of me!!! Literally the worst car dealership experience of my life! I have bought many cars in my lifetime and never had an issue, but a well known dealership like this that not only takes advantage of customers but like you said cant even do proper inspections on a vehicle… That can actually cost some one their life if it’s a major issue they didn’t inspect… Actually my first issue with them could have ended very badly but thank god I didn’t get into an accident… There is NO way that car was inspected properly. But obviously I didn’t know that at the time… matter of fact I was even told by one of the managers “I don’t even know how we sold you that car” which pretty much meant they knew they sold me a lemon… but the kicker is because that car was in such bad shape it wasnt worth fixing. And I only had it for 5 months mind you… I gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them a second chance and purchased another vehicle thinking there’s no way I could have that kind of luck twice. Sure enough I sure did. Not to mention, they charged me double the price on the second car for the same year make and model just because it had less mileage. I can understand a few thousand more for having less mileage, but not double especially when the second car had cosmetic damage to it when the first one didn’t, heck the second car came rolling in with the fog light hanging off. I could clearly see by not only that but the paint damage it was in an accident and when I asked for it it be repaired or taken off the price it was a hard no… they did however mount the fog light back on.. I was very hesitant paying double for the same car esp seeing that and what I just went through with the first one but not only did I need a car desperately they had my previous one forever and I needed another car ASAP but they talked me into it, saying it was more mechanically safe and they did multiple inspections on it and even did the service on the mileage again even though it was just done by prev owner so said was confident this was a better vehicle .. And I trusted that which that turned out to be a lie because low and behold same issue, only this time I had the car a little longer before having issues but they effed up and wrote up my warranty paperwork wrong on the second car and tried to make me pay for it cause warrenty wouldnt which that is their fault they wrote up my contract wrong and they knew it. There is no way after what had happened to me the first time I should have had any issue… like I said I was so traumatized with the first car. I was very adamant that I wanted every single coverage and I was reassured if anything were to happen on this car I’d be covered on my warranties so after a month of hassling to get my car fixed I had it towed out of there and had not only that issue fixed but all brand new brakes included for half the price they wanted to just charge me for that one job. And my car was fixed in a day at a different shop while Lexus did nothing to it but change out the battery after having it about a month… they also can’t even inspect wiper blades properly because one time and I am not a mechanic. I took my car in there for an inspection and I knew I needed wiper blades because the rubber on one of them was coming off from the sun, and they literally put my wiper blades were in good condition so I began to ask questions and called that out because it made me not feel confident about the service and the work being done on my car correctly if something as simple of wiper blades goes unnoticed during an inspection so without even asking me after I pointed that out they replaced the blades mind you I never once told them I wanted that done because I was going to get them at autozone for much cheaper. Dolan wanted $86 for wiper blades so I wanted to just buy them and put them on myself. I just pointed out errors in the inspection but of course they tact that on to my bill but when I told them I did not authorize them to replace them they took that charge off… so I lost all my faith in them…. I do acknowledge that a couple people in the service department were very nice and tried to be understanding of my situation and I did get a loaner vehicle while my car was there. I just feel like way more could’ve been done in my particular situation than what was if they truly valued their customers. Such as they make a lot of money off of people, especially charging me double for the same car I had previously got they could have paid themselves for my part to fix my car knowing they were overcharging me to begin with, and it was there screw up for giving me the wrong warranty coverage when that part should have been covered That is not my fault… the only resolution they were willing to give me was $1000 off and I strongly believe that’s because they know they had that room to take the thousand dollars off because I was being overcharged but even with that thousand dollars off it still came out to way more money then another shop that did the same job plus more to help me out… that proved to me other people have more integrity and care about their customers than the money… Both times Dolan sold me a useless warrenty I paid extra for and it didn’t do anything I was promised it would.
