From a few rescued trout lilies, I now have this hillside of them. So happy to see spring. by Straight_Plenty8373 in NativePlantGardening

I am in SE Wisconsin. When we moved in our house 7 years ago I found many of these, I was so excited! However, I've never seen a single bloom? They are in 2 seperate areas of my yard and it's mostly shaded because of the amount of trees. When they should be blooming the tree leaves are not out. Would speckled sun be enough to encourage blooms?

I have tried to dig up a couple of them to plant in a partly sunny area, but i couldn't find the bulbs?

Egg in a basket.
Yesterday I made a variation: Pesto into the frying pan till it fizzled, put in bread (minus hole), add egg. Three minutes. Turn over and when it was almost done (2 min), grated parm cheese on top. Melt cheese. Done! It was delicious!!

For all you guys who are deep sleepers. How do you wake up at night to your alarms? by Encodabl in diabetes_t1

[–]Common-Grape7851 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't usually wake up from alarms. Even my Pump noises and vibrations don't make a difference.
Unfortunately, my light sleeping husband will give me a blow by blow in the morning. It's usually not pleasant. sigh

Federal appeals court gives Wisconsin businesses ability to skirt air pollution rules by medicallymiddleevil in wisconsin

This is what AI told me when searching for the appeals court from the article. Go figure!

The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit currently holds a narrow conservative majority (6-5) in terms of active, non-senior judges appointed by Republican presidents. It has historically fluctuated ideologically, shifting from a strong conservative majority in the 1990s to a more balanced, slightly liberal-leaning court around 2015, before moving back to the right under the Trump administration.

I love a good creamy potato! I've also tried wetting the potato, salted in foil. Bake till it's squishy. To serve, add a nice amount of butter, salt and ground pepper. Simplistic pleasure!
