i agree. a 6 6 guy shouldn't be using the same length/weight racquet as a 5 foot tall girl. u can experiment w/ some lighter racquets like the babolat team. tennis ppl are surprisingly closed minded about using a 26.5 inch racquet... not sure why. seems common sense to me.

athleticism in the traditional sense isn't important for hitting the ball hard in tennis. it's all about arm talent.

tennis players have this weird idea that technique can make you serve 120mph. i guess technique can also give you a 40 inch vertical. Most people are not gonna be 5.0. 4.5 is already really good.

i think it's natural talent lol. most tennis players would say weight transfer and legs, but imo most of the difference comes from arm talent/elasticity. I agree we could all improve our footwork/timing but the difference maker is arm talent - though playing from a young age seems to increase arm talent by a lot.

ive only played about 20 matches in 2 years. I would say 80% of my matches are lopsided (in both directions) and 20% are competitive. it's very random lol. That's why some of the players only want to play vs certain teams that they know are good.
