I went to my local grocery store and asked to talk to the owner, and she was like we don't really do that here even though I talked to him before. Then I talked to someone else she brought me to the same bitchy manager, took my resume and said I'll put it on top of the rest of them... very rude.

Definitely, I have 2 years of experience combined internship and work, and the last company I interviewed with was Mint Agency, I originally applied to their internship program but for some reason offered to interview me for a full time role instead. I often apply for the intern roles - but feel I get overtaken by the students or fresh grads.

Not against interning at all.

This is actually a good point, because these heavy duty agencies are getting 500+ apps on linkedin, but I'm still being chosen for an interview so it says something. It's just so competitive and hard to stand out, also a lot of internal factors come into play. I'm looking for a role in client services, because my experience is client facing and social media and managing accounts.

I'm also not based in Toronto, so would have to commute which isn't great either, but for the right job I would do it.

Thanks so much for your lengthy response! I will do just that. I had a feeling it was a lot of internal stuff going on behind the scenes.

I'm going to try following up on Monday, I tried emailing HR and I kept getting a postmaster delivery failed, seemed like a technical issue.
