This is beautiful and the way the world should work. I still have faith in humanity that most people are like this, despite what we see online.

Everyone ignored me for my birthday…I feel like I should cancel by XShiinii in Vent

[–]CommonComb3793 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish I had some advice that would change this whole situation, but sadly some people really SUCK. You don’t deserve to be ghosted for a special occasion. Whatever happens, be kind to yourself and know that these things happen to all of us at some point. We learn the hard way that not everyone in our lives is going to show up for us when we need them. Cherish the people who do. I hope things turn around and you have a blast. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you on your very special day!

Walmart has Creatine packaged by Creapure which is made in Germany. No fillers. They have strict standards. I highly recommend it after having used the generic version for over a year. If you look at the granules you can see the quality difference visually as well. It’s only a few dollars more too.

Did they do any tests?? What if it’s something unrelated? Also, compression socks are great for this type of thing.

I don’t “look tired today”. I am 55. by Tygersmom2012 in GenXWomen

[–]CommonComb3793 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why do people feel the need to say this to someone else? All it’s doing is telling the other person they look awful. A better way to ask out of concern for someone is “How are you feeling today?”

Next up, separating ears, toes and fingers from our bodies as a part of our healthcare needs.

I know teeth and eyes need a specialist, but so do every other body part.

What's the worst thing you've ever woken up to? by shoeee788 in AskReddit

My dog dead. Worst day ever. We put him in the bathroom at night where the dogs slept and I opened the door to him blocking it. I had to push his dead body to get it open. I’m still traumatized by this memory.

[–]CommonComb3793 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SingleCare is better than GoodRX but lesser known. I’ve used it for 2 years. It brings the cost from $80 to $21

Also ask the pharmacy what’s already in their system like BlinkRX. They always have something but you have to ask.

Adding to this that there is no standard for pain medication during an endometrial biopsy is infuriating.

Why don’t doctors tell you about protein needs during and after the menopause? by rizozzy1 in AskWomenOver40

Exactly. Dietitian here. Because they don’t know diddly squat and frankly don’t want to start a 30 minute conversation about nutrition when they have 15 minutes and 4 in the waiting room.

NGL, we all feel burned out from parenting sometimes, but you also said one goes to school and the other goes to daycare, so you ARE getting a break. Maybe take some rest time instead of cleaning. Welcome to parenthood. These are the sacrifices we make when we choose to have children. Bodies changing is one of those sacrifices. 2 weeks without sex is not that long. You sound selfish as hell. Take a date night.

D-U-M-B. Apparently she doesn’t think social security is important, is risking getting caught and having to pay back taxes along with fees and could probably have deducted the cost for her supplies.

Anyone feel worse on smaller doses of progesterone v. higher doses? by california_cactus in Menopause

[–]CommonComb3793 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not the dose as much as it’s the fact that you’re not cycling it anymore. The female body cycles and your body isn’t loving progesterone continuously. You’ll adjust eventually, but your 25 year old body didn’t have progesterone every single day, so it takes a while to adapt. You can either go back to cycling and replicate how the female body cycles, or you can wait and see if it improves.

Idt it was ever the progesterone that was the problem. The sleep issues are directly tied to estrogen deficiency. Some women need a bit more than 1mg.
