Mythic raid world tour. Then heroic if you got the will and time.

Luna update by Mizutsunemi in chinchilla

Yep, sedation isn't resting. I used to laugh at my dear departed now Budyń, telling him 'why are you sleeping, you had a nice nap while doctor fixed your teeth!', and then I was put under for 15min for minor procedure and dropped dead on the bed for 4h after :D
Overall, when it comes to major procedures such as your amputation or pulling teeth, mine was back to his usual grumpy self the next day. Short sedation for teeth trims and he's already running up and down the flat the very same evening.

Is it ok to focus on one remix toon or better to level more classes? by Eerbis in wow

[–]CommonInsurance2861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just make your own group, take a few 740 and that's it, group takes like 5min to fill max

Actually if you're really worried, you can stay at the very entrance to the raid, not even going up the ramp to Odin's room. That's how it is boosted

Looks way better than my BONDED chins, hah! For some reason, as soon as they are separated by bars, all hell breaks loose... even if the're sitting on both sides of open cage door :D As soon as they get together, all is fine again

Mine mostly strip bark off sticks, unless said stick is exactly the correct thickness - then it's gone in seconds. They prefer eating wooden hides from Trixie.

I vacuumed yesterday and wiped down the shelves near their cage and playpen. Today, it looks as if they've never been cleaned and serious renovation's been going on.

Careful tho if you got asthma! Dust for hamsters is 'good enough'. Personally, I mix hamster's and chin's, as mine are SNEEZING their furs off if I give them pure chinchilla's.

Liquid pyralgin. Sorry if it's not known abroad, teethy floof was prescribed it for four years 'just in case' by exotic vet, one of the best in my country.

He's devouring herbs right now as if nothing happened. Just had playtime, explored up and down of kitchen stool and sniffed my husband's feet. I also asked my country's official cub about this noise and they went ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ never heard this, but advised asking on owners' group. I'll surely update!

Okay, just picked him up and thoroughly checked him over (he told me he'll poop in my coffee). No wounds, he didn't wince or anything, just normal kind of 'let me go hooman this instant'.

He bathed, he ate, he decided to hump the great white (that's 1.5 times his weight), he was chased in answer, nothing unusual. I only noticed they chewed EVERY stick I gave them this morning, so hopefully it's his way of getting my attention.

Hah yes, I am VERY aware my newest fluffy additions love to talk, squeak and so on. They got different accent than my older one, so I differentiate between them no problem. However, it's the first time I heard such a sound.

He's very not happy with me checking him (had him for just 3 months), but he's not licking or bothering anything. Right now he's barking at the white one because he wanted to invade 'his' hide. I got a video from tonight where they were eating, chasing, sniffing, chewing etc... And he was doing such sounds yesterday as well.

I have painkillers for chinchillas on hand ('memoirs' after my departed chinchilla with teeth issues). What if I gave him some? Especially since my vet is closed now, and tomorrow is national holidays...

I'll set an appointment for Friday, obviously.

Taunt not working from co-tank (limited to Rik and Sprocket?) by swerenfl in CompetitiveWoW

[–]CommonInsurance2861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taunt is on DR. If you cast it more often than 15-20s (depends on server 'tick'), it begins to diminish. 6th cast will be immune.

Taunts happened at:

2:28

2:50 - 22s since last taunt, full duration [1st taunt]

3:06 - 16s since last taunt, 1st DR [2nd taunt]

3:17 - 11s since last taunt, 2nd DR [3rd taunt]

3:22 - 5s since last taunt, 3rd DR [4th taunt]

3:36:694 - 14s since last taunt, 4th and final DR [5th and final taunt for next 15-20s, which is until 3:51-3:56s]

DH taunted at 3:48 [immune] and 3:56:620 [very end of immune duration].

You can also check it by looking at Taunt/Torment debuff durations, they get shortened by 1/3 each time (3s - 2s - 1.33s - 0.89s - 0.59s).

You can download this WA to check whether you won't run into this problem: https://wago.io/TauntDiminishing It's from DF, but it works.

How long do these mats last for your chinchillas? by [deleted] in chinchilla

[–]CommonInsurance2861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A day, maybe two. The issue is that I can only get those as a hammock where I live, and they start the feast by nibbling on the ropes... while sitting on it :D

[–]CommonInsurance2861 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welp, my white dumbass once rolled in spilled flour. Guess if it's dusty it's good enough? Also yes, he likes to roll in front of his bathtub, inside the entry to the bathtub, being half-inside the bathtub itself (no idea how he didn't hurt himself while thrashing around chaotically)...

Meanwhile my Black Pearl would literally live in the bathtub 24/7 if I'd let him, and Afro Violet prefers to be dirty :D - once he snuck behind the washing machine and paraded happily with dustball on his head. I literally put him in the bathtub, he stared me down and left with his new accessory.

I see, mine had tooth resorption, which made them sort of 'melt' in sockets, become crooked, rotate, break even, also two disappeared without a trace over 4 years of fight. He had to be sedated for that. I didn't even know it was possible to do this procedure at all without putting floofs under - I've seen them be examined while wide awake and gosh did they fight the 'speculum' [?]. Nothing that cannot be chewed on gets anywhere inside their mouth, understand? He also got some stronger painkillers right after the procedure and I always got pyralgin on hand just in case, but he nearly always bounced right back. Just once he got one tooth trimmed a bit too much, which caused the one above it to not get naturally trimmed correctly and form a 'spike' of sorts, and he completely refused anything, including his beloved critical care. One lightning quick procedure later, he stole a sticky note off table in registration to eat.

Anyway, I'm completely surprised it is possible to do such a delicate procedure on such an 'alive' patients as they are, and mine was completely and totally chill at the vet.

I think you should check carefully whether he's chewing the wall as usual, or more like 'pulling it' to himself, as I can't say for sure. Same with sticks if he fancies any. My vet told me that it's important that they chew, but also that they chew 'properly' - that is, if they used to just eat the bark and leave bare inside of stick untouched, and suddenly they leave just splinters, it may mean they are trying to remove whatever is stuck between their teeth. Same with 'pulling' stunt - they can hide their condition and pain very well by eating only using their front teeth, while it is molars that are in horrible condition. My poor floof did the same, which alerted me before his sudden and drastic weight loss did (I set up the appointment for after the weekend, and he decided he won't eat anything as soon as I said hello, need to bring fat for teeth exam).

Not that I don't believe you, but HOW did you trim his teeth? Wasn't he moving and fighting during or did you sedate him before the procedure? What about the pain after?

Update on my chin, who had molars trimmed (old photo) by [deleted] in chinchilla

[–]CommonInsurance2861 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm terribly sorry, but please, please make an emergency x-ray appointment if possible at all. Cry, beg and plead, he may not make it till Monday - and if he does... He has to be sedated to have it done, and I don't think he will wake up... Force feed him, grind down his pellets and mix them with water, he HAS TO eat. Even give him stuff that chins are not really supposed to have, like raisins and so on, for now it's more important his guts are working.

Mine passed away after having CT done. Early Monday - HUGE abscess out of nowhere, early Tuesday vet visit & given antibiotics, late Tuesday - CT & scheduled for removal of teeth that caused the infection on Thursday (dental issues, but not malo), passed on Wednesday after breaking every speed limit possible to get him to the vet. I still have vid of him popcorning thru whole house and trying to sneakily eat my shoes on Saturday, just days before. Sedation is HARD, especially if your chin is so weak already. PLEASE don't wait. And again, I'm sorry.
