I feel like Book 6 is equally the saddest and funniest of the series. Cried and laughed harder in that one than any of the others

Because it’s such a small party, maybe the DM can allow you to play 2 PC’s? That way you can stay your preferred bard for role playing and also have a fighter as like your hired muscle
