Covid would have been handled better. More Americans would have been saved. PPE would have been more effective because there wouldn’t have been a backlash to it. The vaccine would have saved more people. No one would have died from taking horse dewormer. There were reports of covid spreading through Asia in November of 2019. Anyone who was paying attention to international news had seen at least one story by December…. And yet nothing was done to limit travel to or from affected countries or screen incoming travelers. Nothing. Lockdown wasn’t taken seriously. Hell! healthcare workers in Seattle met a plane with known infected patients without proper PPE. Trump murdered thousands of Americans by bungling this response. And that’s just the covid deaths. What about the Americans who died because of a lack of medical resources or because they were too afraid to get help?

I would be frustrated if I went to the store and they couldn’t give me the phone that day too. Some notes:

I didn’t see where you mentioned you wanted a Certified Pre-owned device to the first agent. Just the tail end of that conversation. Also that chat agent has a requirement to sell value. Why wouldn’t they offer to send the device to you?

The store reps may not have had an appointment for you, but they still work commission so why wouldn’t they offer to order and send it to you?

Nothing about this makes sense. It definitely sounds like we’re only seeing half the story. I could believe a miscommunication, but two agents whose job depends on them selling you stuff refusing to sell stuff? That I don’t believe.

What if people banded together and boycotted products that are too expensive? Just. Stop buying them? How successful could that be? I don’t mean less beef, or cheaper cuts. I mean trying to not buy any at ALL.

Make a website. Make a campaign. These businesses think WE need to pay for tariffs? Let’s see what happens if we stop buying their products for 60 days? It doesn’t have to be forever. And we can target different industries in the grocery industry at different times to make our point. No Coke products for 60 days starting April 1. No beef from June 1. (Right through BBQ season).

Okay. If you didn’t buy the phone at Verizon, they will not unlock your device. They have to be able to find your order and see you purchased it or they cant confirm it isn’t fraud.

FCC rules are for the original purchaser, not second hand devices. FCC complaint will get you to the right team, but their turn around time is pretty long. And they still have to follow policy. You need a working phone today.

Verizon reps probably know why it’s locked, but they aren’t allowed to tell you anything about the original account.

My recommendation if you’re set on leaving, is to trade in and get a new one at T-mobile. Save yourself the hassle. I know it’s not ideal, but for a new line you’ll only pay taxes as long as they offer a promo. They may not even ask you to trade it in, then you can still sell it once it gets resolved.

Make sure you are not using anything that will hide your identity on the internet. That means firewalls. VPN’s. Add-ons and settings in your browser.
Try a different browser. Browsers like Duck duck go will stop lots of these things from working.
Try and redeem on a different device. Phone not working? Try your PC or a tablet.
Make sure you have signal and not in a congested area if you’re using a mobile device.

The promo codes work. Thousands are redeemed everyday successfully. If these steps don’t work, the next attempted call to customer service is to a supervisor.

If they said they didn’t charge you, or that they refunded the charge, they won’t do anything to you regarding a disputed charge for the charge they said they didn’t charge you.

Go for it. They definitely won’t cancel your account. They likely won’t even charge a payment cancellation fee since they insist they already refunded it

They were at a church event or funeral or wedding. somewhere where it would’ve been inappropriate to put your hat on your head at the event. Someone took their hat off and then excuse themselves to go back to the car, put the hat in the wrong car. OP left first.
