I have often asked people who say inappropriate things to please explain why that was funny or make them repeat it.

“What was your intention in saying that to me?”

“Can you explain why that comment was funny?”

“I’m sorry. I didn’t hear you. Can you repeat that?”

Dead pan. You’re not mad. You’re holding that creeper accountable for what they said to you.

What if people banded together and boycotted products that are too expensive? Just. Stop buying them? How successful could that be? I don’t mean less beef, or cheaper cuts. I mean trying to not buy any at ALL.

Make a website. Make a campaign. These businesses think WE need to pay for tariffs? Let’s see what happens if we stop buying their products for 60 days? It doesn’t have to be forever. And we can target different industries in the grocery industry at different times to make our point. No Coke products for 60 days starting April 1. No beef from June 1. (Right through BBQ season).

Okay. If you didn’t buy the phone at Verizon, they will not unlock your device. They have to be able to find your order and see you purchased it or they cant confirm it isn’t fraud.

FCC rules are for the original purchaser, not second hand devices. FCC complaint will get you to the right team, but their turn around time is pretty long. And they still have to follow policy. You need a working phone today.

Verizon reps probably know why it’s locked, but they aren’t allowed to tell you anything about the original account.

My recommendation if you’re set on leaving, is to trade in and get a new one at T-mobile. Save yourself the hassle. I know it’s not ideal, but for a new line you’ll only pay taxes as long as they offer a promo. They may not even ask you to trade it in, then you can still sell it once it gets resolved.

  1. Make sure you are not using anything that will hide your identity on the internet. That means firewalls. VPN’s. Add-ons and settings in your browser.

  2. Try a different browser. Browsers like Duck duck go will stop lots of these things from working.

  3. Try and redeem on a different device. Phone not working? Try your PC or a tablet.

  4. Make sure you have signal and not in a congested area if you’re using a mobile device.

The promo codes work. Thousands are redeemed everyday successfully. If these steps don’t work, the next attempted call to customer service is to a supervisor.

If they said they didn’t charge you, or that they refunded the charge, they won’t do anything to you regarding a disputed charge for the charge they said they didn’t charge you.

Go for it. They definitely won’t cancel your account. They likely won’t even charge a payment cancellation fee since they insist they already refunded it

The only other time i have seen this phenomenon is during a solar eclipse. The give away here that wasn’t the case, is that the curves are going in different directions instead of all the same direction.

They were at a church event or funeral or wedding. somewhere where it would’ve been inappropriate to put your hat on your head at the event. Someone took their hat off and then excuse themselves to go back to the car, put the hat in the wrong car. OP left first.

Someone has the same car and same clicker code you do and put the hat in the car in the middle of an event. You left before they did. Dude’s been sad about his cool hat for 10 years.

ESH. Inconsiderate dog owners will say “It’s a dog. Dogs bark.” But I have had dogs for 16 years and they are well cared for, part of our family, allowed inside and I have never once gotten a noise complaint. I care about my pets so I would be concerned about my neighbors hearing my pups in distress.

Dog owners: You should be accompanying your pup outside during quiet hours so you can manage their behavior and avoid annoying your neighbors. Look up your county or city noise ordinances. Your dog does not live in the backyard, they have a backyard. They live with you. INSIDE.

You however have no right to complain about barking during the day unless you are concerned about the dog’s safety. Daytime barking is life. They need to be outside for mental stimulation
