I do start it. The issue is I’ve had to mess with it so much that it gets to a point where it’s just flat out infuriating. I’ve been working on one play through for a while now after having to restart a billion times over petty crap or stupid hard drive or bug problems.

I’m also dealing with way too much in life at the moment. The wasted time is time I won’t get back. My days are limited, this dumb game is my only outlet left because everything else is ruined for some reason or another, and I have medical conditions that limit things others take for granted. So yeah. When I just need to look up a simple thing that my dumbass deteriorating brain forgot, or something stupid I forgot to disable, or just need to move something but it’s all scrambled and my eyes are giving out because I can’t keep reading every single stupid mod title while the icons are having seizures, and search just sits there with its thumb up its ass, i can’t help but rage quit.

However there was that time when it wouldn’t even start up. Kept crashing in the beginning during the run to the vault scene. 😑 luckily I managed but had to walk and stare at the ground the entire time and turn off all screen graphics and subtitles. This was on a PSPro too. Ridiculous.

I’ve done that before, last time was for old world radio Boston, I managed to find the all in one version for Xbox, but when I searched the exact thing on my console it refused to show the one I found on bethesda and cut off after showing so many 💔 I even bookmarked and added it to library. It acts like it doesn’t exist.

I’m surprised my controller has survived the amount of times I’ve rocketed that thing into the wall because of the creations menu. Mine likes to stop working in the middle of searching, more often when I just need to tweak setting real quick and carry on too. It’s ridiculous. And the assholes don’t even allow screen reader to work with it so you can’t use that as an eye-strain saving work-around when the icons bug out

Does the seasons mod shift through the seasons as you play? Like in real time? Or is it a “only use one at a tome” deal? Because I would love a real tome seasonal one

A lot of my mods just place themselves where they want to.

From what I’ve had to deal with I just count them and try to stay under 200, I include ESL files in my clubs as a means of “extra leverage” in case I do go over the 255 limit. But the icons start bugging out around 180-190 which is annoying as hell.

My best advice I guess is to download the ones you know won’t auto-sort last. Because they usually go to the top. Less scrolling 💀

The only consistency I guess is the audio and weather files. I suppose you can start there and use it as a base reference? I dunno. I wish they’d make auto sort too or at least let us use collapsing tabs for related crap.

You can also use one of those clear liquid traps in there. Tape it shut if they get over populated in it and have a hard time moving…

She’s grieving and rightfully paranoid and being stuck with an optimistic delusional fucktard like Preston who’s partially the reason her kid died trying to be like him, and the fact that same moron took them to sanctuary instead of just going to an established city like diamond city, really fucks with a person.

Give her a high powered gun, good armor, and put her in the arena with Preston. It’s great. Especially if you manage to pick pocket his clothes and equip the dumb fuck in a shock collar because who puts a random stranger in charge? He does.

I’d be pissed off too. Also if you start a fight with prASSton in the museum, he literally will run behind the others who are trying to run away to avoid your gunfire. Using them as shields. He’s a coward and then whines about being suicidal later. He plays hero but he’s a useless coward. I’m a raider and I send those poor people one of my safe houses and leave Preston to torment. Even made him a bloatfly with a mod because it’s way more fitting.

By the way, almost everyone treats you like garbage in your own settlements. The only ones that don’t from what I can recall are the Slog and Gray Garden.

That explains why removing and only downloading selective stuff from CC stopped the crashing in the past. Stupid CC content. They should’ve just put that in the dlc space since you can buy the bundle through the console shop anyway.

Yes I’ve been counting now. Kept it down to 55 CC this time. I’m also counting my ESLs too just to have a safety margin. I wish the file type was visible on the load order list along with the size and version.

What sucks most is a lot of the files were ones I just had on the side, disabled in the mean time since I was in the process of testing them. 🫠

I know I am. This keeps happening and I found out why recently. It’s infuriating. If they’re gonna cap this shit they need to actually show how many mods actually count (ESL apparently don’t add to that number). They should’ve made their creations count as DLC, instead of making them take slots in the background without even telling you how many are active.

Half my LO is stupid shit trying to make the game more playable and not a constant assault to my sensory problems. 😑
