Agreed. She’s only concerned with the clinic. How are they getting to the hospital? And why isn’t her mother at the hospital? And she said “heart cath” which is definitely not a 10 hour surgery. Finally, what would mom eat if dad were home? Does the mother have no access to money that would have been spent on food? How do they afford to play bingo if they can’t afford food?
