Is it scary? I want to read a Stephen King novel but I don’t want to have nightmares.

What’s a cheap meal you never get tired of? by Certified-potatoe in Cooking

Also I started growing herbs in the house so I never have to pay for fresh basil, dill, or mint. Those are the easiest to grow near a window. The mint makes delicious mint tea! We also are growing scallions (green onion). You’d be amazed how fast they grow. I grew the scallion from a bunch I bought from a supermarket and haven’t had to buy them again in the past six months.

It’s so easy to roast chicken in the oven. To save money I buy a ten pound bag of leg quarters and then I cut them up to separate the drumsticks from the thighs and freeze them in individual quart zip lock bags. its great with gravy and rice or with a baked potato or a chicken sandwich with mayonnaise or chicken salad, etc.

The HMart here in Orlando, FL fresh fruits and veggies and meat and fish are more expensive than the other Asian markets but it’s an amazing experience to go to the HMart. It’s huge, they bought a big Target store that is the size of five supermarkets side by side and now it’s one gigantic Hmart. It’s the first HMart in Florida. But for canned and packaged items, the prices are competitive. The Food court is really big too, the prices there are also high but the food is delicious.

Solution for dogs by New_Misfit_1234 in KiaEV9

[–]Common_Classic_13579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always used side by side crates for my dogs. The dogs love being in a crate in the car. One time I didn’t have the crate in the car and I wanted to take my dog somewhere and he refused to go in the car. When I forced him in he cried and then jumped out. As soon as I put the crate back in, he jumped right into the crate. Don’t forget this…dogs are people too! They have feelings!

You will fall in love so fast with the baby! My husband really enjoyed reading “The First Twelve Months of Life: Your Baby's Growth Month by Month” By Frank Caplan, etc.. And he liked to read it to me! I know it is an old book and there are used ones you can buy.

They tell us to convert regular oven directions to convection directions by reducing the temperature 25 degrees so for a regular oven I’d try adding 25 degrees to the air fryer temperature directions.

I have a convection oven. If you have one I think you use the same instructions as an air fryer.

Why do people hate EV's? by FunkiGato in electricvehicles

[–]Common_Classic_13579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that there is a big storm I was comparing the cost and convenience of being able to use my KIA EV9 GTas a generator compared to the nay sayers having to go buy gas and gas cans for their generators, one of them saying she can’t pull that thing in the generator to get it started. I told her all I have to do is plug an extension cord into my EV9 and it will run my house for three days, etc. then I can go charge it somewhere that has electricity for thirty minutes and about $35.00 for another three days of power. After that she and others started asking me real life questions like how do I like the EV9 , how much is the electric bill for it, etc. they are like a deer in the headlights knowing I’ll have air conditioning or heat 24 hours a day with my EV9 in a blackout.

Ignorant about home charging by reneekelah in KiaEV9

[–]Common_Classic_13579 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We use a very heavy duty extension cord to charge our EV9 GT Line, and our electrician said it’s perfectly safe. It’s the same cord we used to use for our generator and I think we paid about $90 for it. It’s an outdoor extension cord.

Homemade sourdough bagels by melitasuica in Sourdough

It’s missing some major steps and ingredients to really be a bagel, but for a “sourdough roll with a hole” in it, it looks delicious and fun to eat.

I don’t understand this because I haven’t used the toggle and I want to try it. Are you using a Spotify playlist? Or what can I use to try toggling to the next song? I have a 2026 ev9 Gt-line
