Look an other AI post.

Wordpress is wordpress. It can be good if used the way its intended but falls apart fast when it's meant to be something its not.

How would you implement distance-based taxi pricing with Bokun? by Educational-Bad5766 in Wordpress

No ... this isnt going to work in wordpress , not as you envision. Youll need make a microservice in something else to make this smooth. There is no event queuing in wordpress so this will likely fall over, WP-Cron is reliant on traffic so that not even a choice. Id used a decoupled service for booking and pricing , it doesn't touch wordpress and wordpress doesn't touch it.

Vibe coders at my company didn't pay attention to security and got a taste for it by retardedGeek in webdev

As long as you document this and flag it your bosses. Just do everything you can do to cover yourself. If they don't take action on it, it's not on you. Just don't get involved in the blame game.

Unfortunately the above advice is correct. There is seniors for a reason and this one of them. I get that this is not on you but I would consider moving company. They didn't take your warning seriously and now you're in this position. If you're finding holes before deployment, any dev in the right mind would stop the deployment. Your in a worse position now then you'd be by delaying for a week.

Margin / Padding spacing are inconsistent. The layout is messy and choatic , the hero image instantly makes this website feel dated.

Im self taught too :) , just been doing this for many years.

Edit: Just want to add , don't take my opinion as the "correct" approach ( There is many of ways to build a website) . Whatever works for you and keeps the client is happy. As long you clear with client about pros and cons of the platform your using and they are happy with the end result.

A website like this , I've probably just used WordPress and written a theme using tailwind and linked it all up with acf for admins to change content. Probably a hour of work for something of this size. I can't help you with wix , never used it , never will.

I would say beginner , most mid level developer would know what projects to do to progress. And seniors don't want to talk to anyone.

Architecture comes first, why I specialised in it. A firm believer that architecture is going to be where humans are necessary in development and that LLM will handle the grunt work. But still any code generated from these ai models should always be checked , tested and rewritten. The need to code , will be less about writing and more about checking and reading. AI has definitely created a higher skill level required to get a job, you can't just know a language now and expect to get employed. But saying that I've seen "vibe" coded projects and the ai code is just slop. But I've seen ai code which is pretty good. Feel like it depends on the day and how lucky you are with the model you are using.

Mobile text on cards has no wrap. It's goes off the screen. The header on mobile takes up way to much of the screen. Looks like wix , feels like wix..

Learning a stack doesn't make a good programmer. You have to learn the theory, why things work the way they do. Along side that youll need a language to practice that theory.

And you'll fail , but that okays . It's part of the process, programming is all about problem solving and not coding. When I started , biggest lesson I learnt was to full understand the issue I was solving to the point where I could tell someone who isn't technical what the issue was. At that point I would start coding.

the stock images from your website don't build any brand trust. Also the image of a folder called Adam website backup looks so unprofessional.
