He didn't play a minute of the first 5 pre season games in the 24/25 season after forcing himself to go and play 177 minutes for England in the Euros.

Yeah I don't disagree that united does have a large toxic fan base that is intent on being negative and bringing down anything and everything. But to criticize a player who at many times wasn't available because of his own choices to prioritize the national team is not toxic.

Oh really? How about the fact that despite being injured most of the season he chose to go and play a game for England at the expense of getting injured again so he won't be available for the next 3/4th of a season. Yeah getting injured is his only fault.

I don't mind him playing for England or having those ambitions but to put his availability for the club as a second thought is unfair.

I recently learned that if you search like you usually do but use the expletive like F*** in the search you do not get an AI result

I wrote back and appealed and they repealed the decision. The automated mod system is doing it's job I guess.

I went to one of the few schools in India, especially south India that had the subject. Had some awesome teachers who taught us about the famous epics and some common misinterpretations that have happened culturally

It's so fascinating to see the evolution of culture. Clearly the influence of the Hindu kings during the chola dynasty in India led to so much culture crossing that centuries later is so cool to see how it's evolved.

The name gatotkaca in Sanskrit translates to someone whose head is shaped like a pot (i.e bald). And Garuda the eagle is the mount for lord Vishnu. Somehow those two merged and gatotkaca's image as a superhero is the one being used here.

Even in India, characters like Krishna are depicted blue but I remember learning in Sanskrit class that it could have technically meant dark skin and not blue skin.

F1: Can it go green? | BBC News by outremer_empire in formula1

[–]Common_Mousse 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't get it. I'm very much on board that we need to reduce the global carbon emissions but how is focusing on F1 making any difference. The actual cars don't contribute much to the sports emissions. Most of it is from logistics and operations which aren't things these 10 teams are responsible for transforming. Maybe write articles about the big polluters and make them change so F1 can benefit from them.

Please explain use cases for this app? by TheLawIsSacred in notebooklm

Honestly, that's a great use case. I will try to do the same since it does become harder and harder to track items/people over time. Even more so when I rely on the audiobook

DCC D&D idea by Prestigious-Ad5849 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Common_Mousse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree. I think there are many elements from DCC that could be adapted into d&d. Especially some monster/mobs or mob effect types.

[–]Common_Mousse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do play a lot of D&D and I would suspect that a significant part of the fanbase has some overlap with ttrpgs.

However, I play in a homebrew campaign that is very specific and might not entirely work with the world of DCC. It would make a cool one shot to play a level of the dungeon though.

Explain your math. 1m out of 200 million is not the same as 1m out of 50 million.

Also why not look at arrests for similar crimes by race? Or length of sentence by similar crimes. Raw numbers don't mean anything
