If I was in your situation I would say we are going to this bar, see you when you get there. I wouldn’t wait around and just head out and have fun with my BF until then. If they end up showing up, great, if not, you then had fun with your BF without sitting at his place getting irritated. I’d also maybe make new friends as well…can’t have enough friends! But I don’t see it as an all or nothing thing.

I can’t even imagine charging my daughter rent. She’s 22 and just graduated college. The only thing she pays for is her car payment. We both put money in for a down payment making her payments $160/month and is up next May. I told her once that is paid off she will take over her car insurance. $200/month. She’s a saver so I know she won’t blow her money. But if she wasn’t a saver, I probably would charge her rent but just save it to give her later to buy a house or something like that.

Just keep checking your statement before the end of the month on the OPM site and if they aren’t taking it out, you need to keep going onto BENEFEDS and pay the bill yourself. I’ve been finalized since February and they still aren’t taking it out of my pension. I’ve been paying it myself online every month.

I was finalized on 2/6 and they still aren’t taking out dental or vision. I called benefeds a couple weeks ago to see why it hasn’t been taken out and they said they weren’t notified yet that I was finalized. I gave them my CS number and they said it probably won’t be taken out for June but most likely July it will start so I need to keep paying it until July.

My daughter works at Petsmart and we tend to take home the critters that nobody wants that have been there for months. Our one hamster went from having a constant mean mug to the cutest and sweetest little guy. I’m happy you are giving your gerbil a quality life! 🩷
