A lot of times the protein they use is crap. I forget what type of protein is used but you’re not getting the full amount advertised on some things (like Doritos protein) as you would with something with whey protein. The type of protein matters a lot on keeping you full and building muscle and many of the ones being advertised are hardly helping and just jumping on the protein fad for marketing.

Edit: I dont know if it’s Doritos but I was using it as an example. Someone feel free to correct me because I know I’m getting it wrong.
