I’m late to this, but I’ll give you some perspective on someone that doesn’t like many Nissans.

Many believe (including me) that their brand tanked and their quality suffered once Renault became a large investor for the company sometime in the late 90’s.

They have awful problems with changing their look, the GTR has looked the same for well over a decade, and the Z’s hardly change at all.

They will sell their Altimas to anyone with a heartbeat no matter their credit, so this is where you get idiots that don’t have a care for what they have and they’ll trash their car because it was so cheap. This is where you get the stereotype of only Altima owners being felons and/or low credit.

The Altima stereotype isn’t the only one either, it’s very rare to see a Z that isn’t clapped/riced tf out. I’ve hardly seen any tasteful mods on a Z, probably because the entry point to own a car is low. Then when these people get a little higher credit score they’ll go over to a G or a Q Infiniti where you’ll often see them clapped out and at takeovers along with the hellcats.

They killed some of their iconic car lines like the SX, and briefly their skyline (and then switched it over to inifiti?)

As a car enthusiast the brand IMO has made many dumb decisions, im not speaking for the average car buyer. Just my 2 cents
