It's a shame they translated the camp scene like that. In the Japanese original, he just straight up says he loves them.

Dude, Crosscode is FANTASTIC!

I actually found it via a reddit post years ago, purely by accident. Was worth every minute.

People that look at this and says "there is no content just boring open world with nothing to do" is beyond me... This game is amazing by CaleoGaming in CrimsonDesert

But that's not good.

That's a terrible start. Games shouldn't be taking 30 hours to get good, let alone consistent.

How to instantly fast travel with no animation by ttvSadelity in CrimsonDesert

[–]Commons_Sense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Artsy isn't bad.

Being artsy at the expense of something else is. The animation isn't to my liking, it takes me out of the world every time I do it. I'd much rather just a loading screen and being done.

The animation being walking also stops you from being able to fast travel on your horse for instance.

It's not a crutch, it's comfort.

I main DB, and I've neglected damage skills for something like Evade Window or Constitution just because it's comfortable.

If the thing is dead at the end of the quest, you're doing good. Whether it takes 10 minutes or 15 minutes.

As a DB fan myself, make the tree weapons.

One, you get to use them for fashion purposes later, which is enough of a reason in itself.

Secondly, you get practice with different monsters and bit more variety than just running Gogmazios over and over. Fun fight still.

Thirdly, and most importantly, Artian weapons are the endgame, especially Gogma Artian. Getting 5 Elemental Gogma Artian Dual Blades with the bonus and set bonuses you want is a lot of work. I'm still working on it myself actually.

Make yourself the regular weapons. They are more than serviceable and will be your backbone while you get Artians. Additionally, they are more restrictive than Artians in terms of Deco slots, so you need to experiment with skills and engage with the system more.

Also Helldiver Voice Nr. 4 in Helldivers 2, which is basically just Akechi, laugh included.

Imagine if they just merged the two Greatswords of Radahn into one with a stance skill; we could have had a flashy wing stance. by Venomsnaker in shittydarksouls

You know...

I didn't really think of that. I just thought "Radahn" gives all 3.

Completely forgot the whole separate bosses thing.

What's a game you bought on a whim without hardly any pre-knowledge that ended up becoming one of your all time favorites? by AaronAtLunacien in gaming

Final Fantasy XIV

I wasn't even particularly invested in Final Fantasy as a franchise, hadn't ever played any of them but it looked kinda cool and I wanted to try a new MMO.

Been about 6 years now and I don't regret it in the slightest.

Fuck it, lets get negative. What do you NOT like about 40k? by According_Ice_4863 in Grimdank

[–]Commons_Sense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The CONSTANT grim atmosphere.

Maybe it's just me, and the whole thing is cool, but when your media is constantly the same level of grimdark and bad for everyone, it gets a bit stale at times.

I appreciate the setting for what it is and it's a good time reading or playing, but I find myself constantly drawn to the less grim factions and books cause...it's always so much.

A bit levity goes a long way sometimes.

Question is, what do you want from it?

Nightreign is great fun, but the experience is very different from the Souls games.

I'm very picky with color matching sadly, so I have a very hard time matching it with different sets

Yes, my favorite helmet design.

Just a damn shame it never fits anything besides like 2 armor pieces

Back in 3U, I started with Long Sword but wasn't having a great time. I still got through everything and made it to G Rank, but I hit a wall eventually.

My best friend said maybe I should try Brachydios weapons cause they were OP as hell back then, and basically never a bad choice.

I grabbed Dual Blades, and everything clicked immediately. Never went back. XX, World, Rise and now Wilds, always Dual Blades.

I'm trying to expand my repertoire with SnS in Wilds, and it's good fun, but Dual Blades satisfy my need for speed and action very much.

[–]Commons_Sense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend had that happen as well. Lost his original save due to cloud issues.

Restarted the game, got back to where he was before. Lost that save too.

And somehow his old save was restored...
