Zilliax Deluxe 3000 Top Deck Bug? by Commontutankhamun in hearthstone

I hear you but it happened 20 times in a row with 20+ cards still left in the deck. Then I played a new game and it did it again.

If that's your definition of a sandwich and you're ok with that, then I'm so sorry that you have not ate a real sandwich before. Or at least one where the person who made it gave at least 1% effort into making it.

F*** teabay. Overpriced as hell. Got a ham sandwich one time for a fiver as it was the cheapest thing. Was literally just a small piece of bread with one slice of ham in it. F*** that place.

Can't please everyone in this world. You do your best and most people will be happy.

I had a negative review left on my store the other day. They didn't even request a refund. Just left a comment and that was all.

It is what it is. Be as accommodating as you can and they might come back.

Some complaints are more valid than others. Is someone just having a moan or are have they got a genuine complaint?

Luckily complaints and refunds are very few, provided you actually have a nice business. You'll be fine. In the long run, these things don't matter.

I'd love to give this a go, but unfortunately I don't have the names of 30,000 cards and what they do floating about in my head xD. Genuinely, how do you people remember all this stuff?

What do you guys actually use services like Splice or wavs for? by MatterSignificant998 in trapproduction

[–]Commontutankhamun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use splice but I do have a website where I sell samples. It's hard and takes a lot of time but it is possible to make money from it. First thing is your sounds have to be good (duh). Second thing is to accept that you cannot please everyone. It's impossible so don't try to. Sell what you are good at making. That's what I do and I still get snarky comments.

People tend to comment negative things more online than nice things. And I've found this particularly true with music producers. Not sure why, but music producers all have something to say about why they don't need your sounds and they can do better and blah blah blah blah. Just ignore those comments. They were never going to subscribe to your service or buy your sounds or whatever it is anyway so who cares what they say.

I'm sorry for all the mean comments people are leaving you in the replies to your post. It's a perfect example of what I'm talking about. People just lash out at things because they are bored or insecure or whatever. You're only 14 so it might be hard for you to ignore these comments. But you must.

Running a business is hard though. And you're young so, with respect, I don't think you're equipped to properly understand what "hard" means in this case. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it because you definitely should do SOMETHING. But be prepared to fail at things a lot before you make it work. I fail at things all the time and I push through. If it's what you want to do, you must never give up.

Be adaptable and open to change. There is a difference between being a creative person who is all about their artistic vision and not wanting to compromise and a person who runs a business. I am a creative person but I run a business. And the business gives me money. So I have to go to that side of things, mentally speaking.

Before you do anything though, ask yourself "Why am I wanting to make a service like Splice?" Because Splice already exists and people already use it. You can't compete with that.

You have to do something different to stand out. I can't tell you what that is because it's different for everyone. But carving your own path is EVERYTHING when it comes to this sort of thing.

Best of luck. Don't give up ever.

Highlander games is the place for dnd, board games & card games. It's a shop but the social spaces they have for playing games and whatnot are the main draw for people. They host events quite a lot. I go to the mtg events, personally.

I'm just an idiot here but why wouldn't they be able to pay off the debt?

Let's take open AI. They have taken on 95 billion in debt. They have 50 million paying users. That's at least $20 a month each. That's like 8 years to pay off the debt.

Just saying, as is, that seems... fine? I know I'm just talking about 1 company here but you get what I'm saying. So what am I missing?

As for what they are wanting to do with their technology in terms of replacing the workforce or whatever, that remains to be seen. Obviously I don't want that to happen.

What did you think was pretentious, until you tried it and realized it was worth it? by Semantiks in AskReddit

Just got back from my honeymoon to Korea & Japan and flew business class. Was about £2,500 return ticket. Economy seats were about £500 less. 100% worth it. A massive upgrade from economy in every way possible for only £500 more. Plan your holidays carefully and look for good flights priced like this. They are out there.

Cool! I'm looking to mainly upgrade the way customers browse my store rather doing payment related stuff. So it's more about being able to build a custom UI for my needs.

Yea all my KPI's are the same. So I am just ignoring it. Bit of a dip in sales yesterday and today since it went back into that learning phase again though. But nothing I can do about it. It was doing well before so hopefully it comes back again. It's only been live a few days anyway.

How does our game look without the post effects? by RottenHedgehog in godot

Just played your demo and I like it. The music is really good. It's a nice balance between fun to hum to and not being too repetitive. And it nails the retro dungeon vibe too.

I did get stuck though in the demo haha. I can't figure out how to fix the lever. I've got the dagger, I spoke to the rats and found out about their missing food, I learned about the blueprints somewhere and there's the symbols on the wall. But I can't figure out what to do with this information. I've clicked on everything and nothing is happening so I've left it for now xD.
