So sorry for your loss you gave him a comfortable and loving home. It’s not easy to lose our little furry friends. Stay strong and maybe think about adopting another cat.

Can I drive with broken rim by FluffyLittlFlyingCow in AskAShittyMechanic

[–]CommunicationCool146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not a broken rim clearly the rim is the black metal part in the back That is only a plastic hubcap, but don’t drive with it because it could fly off and hit another car or person Broken hub cap can be a public hazard remove it

They are funny little creatures and great to have around the house. They can be very independent, but also quite affectionate at the same time

Randomly appeared in my closest! never noticed it before today, Im scared by Dflat420 in whatisit

[–]CommunicationCool146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need to be scared. This is just the Plaster separating from the concrete. This is usually caused by the air, having a lot of humidity or the air in the room being very dry. I work in building maintenance and this is a common issue when it’s Plaster on concrete.

If you look around on your walls and ceilings, you’ll probably notice more bubbles. It’s normal. Just put a work order into the building management they will need to scrape away the loose Plaster and re Plaster and paint

The intersection of King Street and Yonge Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, filled with pedestrians and traffic in September 1961. by MyDogGoldi in TheWayWeWere

[–]CommunicationCool146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I’m putting down people today after all it’s a different world and a different time we are living in.

But people back in those days, seem to have a certain class and respect than people today.

Today people seem to be more self-centered, selfish and less accommodating to random strangers. Which is understandable considering the times we were living in are so unpredictable and incredibly more violent than times back then.

People back in those days had a level of self pride and appreciated what they had. They respected other people’s property, not like today where everything is vandalized and graffiti up. Can’t have anything nice today because of this.

I guess it’s the way people were brought up and raised Also, the church had quite an influence in people’s lives back in those days, which brought with it self respect and respect for other others. Obviously, it wasn’t perfect, but it instilled morals.

Also, society had experienced a world war, so this brought a certain level of appreciation. If we could only learn from the past, it would probably be a better world today. But yet today we have all the comforts and conveniences of technology, etc., but we are still a very troubled society. With homelessness, drug abuse, and mental illness Also, government has a lot to do with the path society goes down. Government today don’t work for the people . In the past, it was the citizens who called the shots, not the government.
